"chipotle, like most fast casual restaurants, can be a reliable and consistent, if not inspired choice for vegan and vegetarian foods. the sofritas topping is vegan; it is, however, not salt-free or oil-free. the sofritas themselves contain 10 grams of fat and 560 mg of sodium for each portion. brown rice adds another 6 grams of fat. the sofritas, brown rice, black beans with fresh tomato salsa and romaine lettuce is over 17 grams fat and over 1500mg sodium. the good news, of course, it is always the same pay at all sockets, and they can cut them components in a large circumference."

"I love Chipotle—who doesn't? However, this particular location has been inconsistent with their portion sizes. I always order the same thing and I've placed more than five orders here before writing this review. Only once has my food been properly portioned (as shown in the picture). This place is usually bustling, and since I don’t have time to wait in line, I tend to order online. Generally, they are good about having my order ready on time, but there was one instance where it was 30 minutes late. There were others waiting, too, and I'm not sure what went wrong that night. When I finally received my takeout order after that long wait, the food looked jumbled and the container was falling apart because they hadn't drained the broth from the barbacoa. I’m giving it 4 stars solely because I really love Chipotle."

"Attempted to use a Delta Airlines electronic Mastercard credit voucher at checkout. The associate at the register was very helpful and tried to scan the QR but that failed. He asked his manager to help key in the card number manually and she refusedstating that it was not possible to do this. I paid the bill and then wrote Chipotle to inquire whether the store hadn?t theability to key-jn the card number. The reply I received was that they ?didn?t know?. Clearly, they also didn?t care (to findout). Seems to me to be more likely that the manager simply didn?t want to accommodate. Food is good and of reasonablequality. And again, the associate at checkout was very helpful. Both are reasons to that I didn?t rate as one star. Not goingback though as neither store management nor corporate customer service are interested in the customer experience."

"I'm not usually one to write reviews, as I find that many tend to exaggerate. However, my experiences at this Chipotle have been consistently disappointing throughout 2024 and even dating back to November 2023. I acknowledge that it's somewhat my fault for returning to the same location and expecting a different outcome, but I shouldn't have to travel to another town for a better experience when there's a Chipotle nearby. Generally, I like to give others the benefit of the doubt. I understand that running out of ingredients can happen occasionally, especially during busy hours. However, when I repeatedly find the same items out of stock, despite new ones being added each time I visit, it’s baffling. I don't know how they manage inventory or operations, but if I were frequently running low on the same items at the same time every evening—especially with hours left before closing—I would think to prepare more in advance. Having worked in the pizza industry for years, I know that when we ran out of ingredients, someone was usually sent to another store or a grocery store to restock. We also made an effort to accommodate customers or rectify the situation if we couldn't provide what they wanted. In summary, if you're considering going to Chipotle, just be prepared to pay a premium for missing half of your usual ingredients, and know that whatever they do have might be served cold. I recommend visiting after 8 PM (three hours before closing) if you want to experience this inconsistency. I won’t be returning to this location; instead, I'll be switching to the Qdoba in town."

"I visited the restaurant at around 7:18 PM on March 12, 2024, and ordered a kids' quesadilla meal, a chicken burrito with guacamole, and a chicken bowl with guacamole. To start, the employee didn’t even attempt to properly wrap my burrito; she noticed the tortilla was torn and just paused before putting it in the foil. This felt very careless. Additionally, I ordered a kids' meal, but they forgot to include the kids' chips and drink. My fiancée went back to the counter to let them know about the missing items, and they looked at him as if he were speaking a different language—they seemed confused. He had to explain that the meal is supposed to come with those extras, and even then, they were reluctant to fix it. We ended up with the kids' drink but no chips. Considering that Chipotle isn’t the cheapest option, it’s incredibly frustrating when employees forget or mess up your order. It’s even worse when you directly address the issue with them, and they act oblivious. On top of that, this location was downright dirty. There was no reason for all the tables to be piled with leftover food from previous customers, especially with so many employees on duty. I’ve been to other locations that were more understaffed but had more attentive workers, a better atmosphere, and cleaner surroundings. Please do better."

"I ordered a quesadilla that arrived wrapped in foil, crushed, and looking quite unappetizing. It was supposed to come with three sides, yet I only received a small portion of guacamole. There wasn't an option to select which sides I wanted, so I expected it to come as shown in the pictures, complete with sour cream, salsa, and guacamole, and served in a box. After paying $22 through DoorDash, I was left disappointed—I could have easily gotten a better quesadilla from Taco Bell. The quality at Chipotle has really declined over the past year, and every visit has left me dissatisfied. I won't be returning."

"This restaurant offers huge burritos with two vegan options - sofritas (a soy, paprika, tomato, onion, poblano mixture) and grilled veggies. You can choose from brown or white rice, black or pinto beans, salad, corn salsa, tomato salsa, and guacamole to customize your burrito. You also have the option to order your meal in a bowl instead of a tortilla. The vegan food is fast and delicious, with multiple locations including this one in a shopping center in San Rafael. The restaurant is clean and reliable, although there were some E. coli and Norovirus issues at other locations in 2015/2016. Take a chance and give it a try! "I went there today November 15th at around 12 pm and let’s just say that I would have preferred to not eat than to have dealt with the attitude of the people working there that shift. I understand people have bad days, but what bothered me most was the woman who was at the register. I simply asked her to double check that she was giving me the right order bc she almost gave the guy ahead of me the wrong order so I figured the next two orders had also gotten mixed up. With a bad attitude she told me no that she was giving me the right order. She proceeded to put my food in the bag aggressively almost crushing me chips. I didn’t say anything to her. Before I left I double checked that my order was correct and it wasn’t.she had given me someone else’s order. I gave my order to the person who was behind me bc she had given me his order. I hate writing reviews like this, but I also dislike being treated unfairly especially when all I asked was for a simple thing. She was very rude and aggressive for absolutely no reason."

"The restaurant has a lovely and clean atmosphere, with a friendly staff that is very helpful with recommendations and provides quick service. There are no long wait times, which is great. I really liked the cauliflower rice option—it’s fantastic! We ordered a bowl and a burrito, but I was disappointed that my steak was served cold. That was a bit of a letdown."

"This place is quite similar to a taqueria, and the food is really tasty. They don't spread the ingredients in their burritos very evenly, but it's still a very good burrito. I've tried both their burritos and bowls. The drink prices are surprisingly high, but they do have a fantastic lemonade and they sell Mexican Coke. The burritos are huge—so large that I can only occasionally finish the whole thing. It's a decent value overall; I would say the prices are a bit on the high side, but I still enjoy visiting this restaurant."

"I?m DONE with this Chipotle location. Ordered on the app from this location for a 4:50 pm pickup. This is the third time I?ve ordered from the app, so I should have known better. We were trying to feed 4 kids tonight, it was just easier. Good thing I did since at 4:50 pm the waiting line was out the door into the parking lot. Waited 15 minutes past the 4:50 pickup time. Got my food home and overall the portion sizes were half of what you get when you order in person. I?ve attached a picture of my burrito bowl, which was ordered with double chicken (and the label noted it). It?s stirred around a little in the picture because I was looking for ANY chicken. I?ll start doing like I do with other restaurants close to me and start driving out of my way to a better location than this one."

"I generally avoid leaving negative reviews, but I feel compelled to share my recent experience at this location, especially since it's my second issue here. A few months back, they forgot to include my chips and salsa in my online order, which was on me for not double-checking the bag. Today, I went into the restaurant and ordered veggie tacos, requesting the guacamole on the side. The server packaged the guacamole in a container, as I expected. However, when I reached the cashier, I was charged for the side of guacamole. I explained that I only wanted the guacamole that comes with the tacos served on the side, not an extra portion. The cashier insisted that she had to charge me because the container was larger than the amount typically served with the tacos. In my opinion, this reflects very poor customer service. 08/02/22."

"I received a complimentary entree coupon from a regional manager at Chipotle. I was unaware that it had expired on December 31st, as it was still early in the new year. However, when I presented the coupon to the cashier, they loudly exclaimed, "THAT'S EXPIRED," and pushed it away. This experience was not pleasant, as it made me feel uncomfortable and embarrassed. I had made a special effort to visit the restaurant, and unfortunately, I left feeling extremely disappointed."

"As usual from this place. I ordered a bowl that was thrown together, literally it was over when I was ready to leave the door. I asked for a medium cup that he rang and continued to focus on the phone that he had on me was as fine, but whatever. Then there was a problem with the pose. I paid a reception and then became of the gm my payment did not go through. That was the beginning of the whole meeting. My friend paid mine and her, and then he said the remaining balance was my sum after she had already paid for it. He could not communicate what is on and on this extremely rude. In my conversations about the subject, talk to his hands and roll his eyes. The behaviour was very immature to say the least. And then I asked for a refund at this point there was a payment problem and my bag was leak bean juice. The gm said I had to e-mail Chipotle for a refund and continued the next customer without hesitation. Very short and I have never heard that a CASH register cannot process a refund. Not sure what he was annoyed, but being the head of the store he could? ve kept his hesitation and treated the situation differently. From his behavior alone, I would rather take the longer ride to another place. Customer service 0 stars."

"Alrighty, I am not one to really ever go on yelp and do this. I got to say, todays order was underwhelming. I've eaten at this location before and the folks always make great bowls. Today, I went for lunch and decided I wanted to get a bowl with half carne asada and half chicken. So I placed my order and the girl that was prepping it was very nice and polite but I couldn't tell if it was her first day or first week or what was going on. When I came to placing the portions she literally didn't fill the spoon at all. My bowl looks like a kids bowl, the only thing that makes it look full is the guacamole that I paid for extra. When it came time to checking out, the cashier looked confused as to what she was charging me for. My co workers took a look at bowl and asked me why it looked that way. Again, I am not one to be a **** or make someone feel bad about their job, but come on.... Do better. Oh and the chicken was cold. Went back in to let them know, they remade my bowl same girl, and it wasn't any better still looked like a kids meal. I asked her is she could add more protein. The cops behind me though, they got FULL BOWLS because the cashier made it for them. Cute. I let them know to make everyone's bowls the same. Needless to say, there's a reason I hardly eat chipotle, jokes on me the one time I actually want it."

"I literally just stood in line for over an hour waiting to just order food. When I got up to order the worker who was working alone making everyone?s food stop taking orders and just work on online orders. Leaving everyone in line waiting. She did not say anything to us she did not apologize she did not explain what was going on As everyone just stood there waiting for about 20 more minutes. When she finally started to take my order she had a bad attitude she was tossing things around slamming spoons into the condiment bowls and was just very rude. I have never experienced this at any chipotle and I definitely will not be going back to the Chipotle. I will travel further to go to another one before I give this store my business ever again. Which sucks because it is so close to my house. I understand being short stash and training but at least explain to everyone what?s going on instead of leaving them standing there."

"I am extremely disappointed with Chipotle Mexican Grill and will not be returning. Today marked the fifth consecutive visit with major problems. I placed an online order for a pick-up at noon, which the restaurant suggested. I arrived on time, but nothing was ready. After waiting an additional 30 minutes, the order was finally prepared. Fortunately, we checked the bag and discovered there was no salad dressing and no chips. When asked, the staff said they didn't have any available. We had to request a refund. Once we got back to the office to eat, I found that the burrito bowl was incorrectly made, with an excessive amount of cilantro in the rice—much more than usual. This experience follows a series of previous issues, including food not being ready, many menu items unavailable, rude staff, inconsistent quality, and meals that were half the size of others in the same order."

"Steak made/served on NYE gave me food poisoning, was up from 2-10am with severe cramping and vomiting. I knew something was off as I was eating it. The food just didn’t taste right, especially the meat so I ended up throwing it away after a few bites. I even joked with my husband about it ? little did I know I’d spend the next 24 hours feeling like I’m dying. I almost went to hospital bc it was that bad, have not been able to hold anything down until the last hour. I know for a fact that it came from the chipotle as it’s the only thing I ate yesterday. Assuming it was the steak as my husband and stepdaughter got the same thing, but got chicken instead"
