"This is a great spot in the neighborhood to grab a quick bite to eat. Finding parking was a bit difficult for me as my GPS said I arrived, but I was confused. After checking the website and seeing photos of the building, I finally found the restaurant. You can either park on the street for free or use the complimentary parking lot behind the building. I met a friend here for Sunday brunch and we were greeted with a warm welcome. Our waitress, Sonya, was very attentive and the manager even stopped by our table to make sure we had everything we needed."

"Our family enjoyed the outdoor seating and the waiters did a great job of quickly pushing other tables in when it was raining out of the blue. We were under an umbrella and a big tree and didn't have to move and the rain stopped quickly. Our teenage kids weren't in many nice restaurants and they loved the creative starters, especially the homemade croutons on the Caesar salad, delicious! We all had very good meals and were too full for dessert, which is unfortunate because I have eaten the chocolate bread pudding with Baileys before and it is divine! There are so many tasty options and we enjoyed the scallops as well as the duck, key lime chicken and the flank. You can't go wrong!"

"This restaurant is a great spot for brunch! I went with a group of five on a Sunday and we had a fantastic time. I ordered the egg white omelette and it was delicious; the mix of wild mushrooms, spinach, and tomatoes was a classic combination done exceptionally well. We also got a pitcher of their rose sangria, which was delightful. The highlight of the restaurant for me was the ambiance - the vibrant and unique decor, the welcoming staff, and the overall friendly atmosphere."

"Usually do pick ups but came in and sat at the bar for dinner with a friend a few weeks ago. Had a great experience with our bartender Lesly, she gave amazing recommendations for pescatarian dishes and good white wines. My friend stepped outside at 9pm to take a call since we asked for boxes and a check. I understand they close at 9pm but they had locked the door right at 9pm. I tried to let my friend back in and the host Adan told me I couldn’t let them in past closing for safety reasons. I tried to tell him we’ve been sitting at the bar for an hour and she still had an open tab and all her belongings at the bar and still wouldn’t let her in and said he would grab a manager. I could understand if it was someone new trying to join or late in the night but it was no later than 9:05pm. Was an extremely awkward and disappointing experience, our lovely bartender apologized and sympathized with us but still don’t understand why the host would do that and then never got an answer from a manager on duty. It’s upsetting that we never got an apology for their actions. Overall I like fresko but the experience I had with the host made me not want to go back."

"This charming Italian restaurant has an old-world feel that transports you to a different era. Despite being a snowy day and the lunch crowd being light, the food was fantastic. The bread was fresh and tasty, the homemade minestrone was light and aromatic, and the shrimp were superb. To top it off, our waiter surprised us with a delightful dessert adorned with a chocolate message for my girlfriend's birthday. We will definitely be returning in the future."

"We were lucky to be the only people seated on the patio for our reservation time. Our waiter was very attentive and yet, not intrusive. We arrived just before the end of happy hour, so we ordered a round of bites to get started. They were all amazing. The beet ravioli were amazing, as was the ginger roll. There was not an order submitted that didn't surprise and delight us. We ordered a rice bowl with lobster tail as our main course. While the food was delicious, I was surprised at the small amount of rice we received for the price. Other than that it was a delightful meal in an amazing atmosphere."

"We were pretty disappointed by our visit. And we were excited about the great reviews. Unfortunately, the food wasn't great, and the servers are really unsanitary when handling raw meats. It really turned us off on the whole meal. We came on a weekday night, so it wasn't busy at all. We ordered, and our server gloved up and cut up the meats, touching each slice and weighing things before serving pretty standard. Then, with the same gloves and without even washing them, he proceeded to grab our cups to serve us more water, scoop bowls of rice, touching everything from spoons to bowls and chopsticks. He did this while serving us and other tables like everything was normal. We did eat a bit before noticing all this, and the food and broth was just ok at best. The sauces were the only thing with good taste. Once we noticed how unsanitary things were, we stopped eating and asked to pay. Of course, our server handled my card with his dirty hands. However, the music level n high energy selections were jus awful at Who wants to hear blasting music while trying to hv a delish breakfast n decent conversation while high energy Banda type music is blasting so early in the am. I can understand having that kind of music for Happy Hr/dinner because everyone is ready to hv fun n drink alcohol. I will not go back for breakfast or brunch jus because I could not enjoy my guest or hear them talk without raising my voice. There should be a time for cool, mellow Mexican music..Los Panchos, Xavier Solis, Rocio Durcal, Pedro Enfante, Vicente Fernandez, Alejandro Fernandez, Linda Ronstadt (Canciones de me Padre), Julio Engleses, etc. Or even cool hip mellow jazz as I noticed you get both young n older customers, so it would be ideal to cater ur music to ALL ages, not jus high energy Banda all day long. Sorry to be so blunt, but its worth a try through the ‘ears’ of a paying customer. Otherwise, I think you have a fantastic food haute. "Wow! I have discovered another amazing restaurant! The food, atmosphere, and service were all exceptional. It is a bit pricey, as our bill for two appetizers, a roll, a main dish, and four drinks came to about $150. This is a fusion-based restaurant with dishes that are complex and full of layers. The service was outstanding, especially from our server Richard, who provided excellent recommendations based on our preferences. The manager David also ensured that we were comfortable and everything was going smoothly, without interfering with our server. Overall, this restaurant is high class and done right."

However, our meats were served by a different waitress who seemed ill-suited for the role; her attitude left much to be desired. Additionally, I found the prices to be on the higher side, especially with the automatic 18% gratuity added to the bill. While I generally prefer to tip more, I think this system allows the second waitress to be complacent in her service. Since she gets a tip regardless of her performance, there's little incentive for her to improve."

"We found Five Palms while looking for a piano bar. We enjoyed the ambiance and a couple of glasses of wine. It was great so we made reservations for the next night. I requested a table with a view. The hostess called and explained that the view was in another space called Oliva but that reservations were not accepted in that space. She recommended we keep our reservations in the dining room and that we could go to Oliva if a table was available. It was. So we enjoyed the dinner menu and the view. The food and service was excellent so I canceled our reservations at another upscale restaurant and made reservations for Five Palms for Christmas Eve. Before our Christmas Eve dinner, we enjoyed a glass of wine outside near the fireplace. Sadly, Oliva was closed so we couldn't enjoy the view from there but that was a minor inconvenience. The view of the Santa Catalinas from the patio was fabulous. Everything was impeccable in the dining room. The food was outstanding, The service couldn't have been better. In fact, it was like having dinner with very polite friends and family. Five Palms has four different spaces in which to enjoy food and drink. We enjoyed the concept so much we went 3 nights in a row. We've been to many great restaurants in Tucson. Few rival Five Palms."

"my second time at this place. previous reservation 11. rezeptionist was very nice, we had the same server from our previous visit, diana and another dame. that was great. for vegan or for guests who want to taste fogo without meat. I propose to take the gaucho lunch. it was the most expensive and if they try to add their grill selection, they can add b/n $8- $12 on the gaucho lunch price $15. the rest of my family had the churrasco experience that encompasses the market table and the feijoada bar. I had dessert the free by having their fogo eclub for free a few days before visiting the direction end of the lunch that we were also served by mikee (pardon if incorrectly written). personal and server were all great. overall we had a wonderful experience."
