"I just witnessed them being totally harassed by a customer who was upset of being asked if he wanted chicken or beef. He might have been drunk or something but doesn?t give him a right to speak that way to them. He called the young lady very bad words that I simply cannot write in this review. People really need to chill. She was just doing her job and can?t help it if she doesn?t know what protein you want. Treat food service workers with respect. They have fantastic food and service here but the customers are just plain rude. Stop abusing the workers we all know these times are hard but here they are being here everyday to feed us. At the least we can give them some respect. I don?t do reviews often but they deserve this."

"I have been a regular at Portland City Grill for many years, appreciating its ambiance and dining offerings. However, my recent visit for my parents' 48th wedding anniversary was notably disappointing, a stark contrast to previous experiences. Our evening felt uncomfortably rushed. Even as we were still enjoying our meals, the bus staff began clearing our plates, some of which still had food on them. This rushed service detracted significantly from our ability to enjoy our special family occasion at a leisurely pace. Additionally, a major letdown was the temperature of the food. When our dishes arrived, they were cold. I specifically requested that my potatoes be warmed up, and although the staff did provide a new serving, the replacement was, unfortunately, also cold. This was particularly disheartening as the reasonable prices usually reflect not just the quality but also the proper service and presentation of the food. Furthermore, the total bill for our dinner amounted to over $800, which compounded our disappointment given the issues with service and food temperature. For such a significant expenditure, one expects both the food and the service to be impeccable. Overall, this experience did not meet the standard I have come to expect from Portland City Grill, especially given the significance of the occasion. I hope this incident is an anomaly and not indicative of a downward trend in service and quality."

"Finally tried Wasabi tonight with our 3 sons and we truly had one of the best experiences ever. Excellent food, extremely good quality, all ingredients were so fresh. Our server was the kindest soul and took such great care of our kids, even adding a bunch of extra fortune cookies for them at the end seeing that they enjoyed them so much. We are very picky when it comes to dining out but Wasabi exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend this place to everyone!"

"The sushi was good and the price was average. They have a fairly good amount of choices on their menu. The food was prepared well. The facility was clean. The lighting is a little dim, but typical of this style of restaurant. The server was new and she did not pass the plates to the guests; instead, she placed them at the end of the table for the guests to distribute themselves. This led to some confusion. Hopefully that service isn't the norm. Overall a great experience."

"I have traveled the world eating sushi (all over United States, Central/South America, Europe, South Pacific, and of course even Japan). Sushi Hana is my favorite sushi outside of Japan, this is more to do with nostalgia and not the taste or quality as sushi Hana excels in taste and quality. It’s always a pleasant experience as the staff are excellent, and a special shout out to Alan who is always a pleasure. Highly recommend, and make sure to try the baby octopus sushi it’s amazing with a bit of wasabi, soy sauce, and wrapped in a shiso leave (the green leaf in the picture enjoy!"

"I 've ordered delivery meals several times from this establishment and they did not disappoint in taste. I believe they have changed their name to Jumbo Asian Restaurant and are located just a little bit down the road from where they were. In thisrestaurant they primarily offer dishes of Chinese, Japanese, Thai, and just one or two items of the following culturesVietnamese, Korean, Mongolian. I usually purchase their bento box meals amongst other things. I think it gives the best bangfor your buck. The sushi is not bad and does taste fresh. The boba tea is good every other time too. The one Thai dish I triedwas the Pad Thai, and it was a bit subpar but not hopeless. Their spicy is definitely no where near actually being spicy inmy opinion. Strangely the dishes marked spicy that I have ordered came out to be sweeter than usual. The delivery guys wereprompt and polite with me every time. Their receptionist lady (whoever always calls customers and answers the phone) some timeshas a bit of an attitude problem however. I 'd say she was the main reason I haven 't maintained business with them. I guess youjust have to catch her on a good day?"

"Caviar Russe has become one of the top high end restaurants to dine at in the entire city. There is certainly no better place to go if your a caviar lover. I've eaten here a handful of times over the years and feel that the experience has gotten better each time. The room is beautiful, the service is impeccable, and the food is outstanding. Also Caviar Russe has just taken space on the first floor that is a little more casual than the second floor dining room. I look forward to trying downstairs next time. In any event this restaurant is highly recommended and a must try!"

"I have been going to Red for several years now, and the sushi (nigiri and rolls) and service are always top-notch. My only complaint is it's better to eat outside because inside they play awful club music that is too loud in a very echoy interior, and it completely ruins the vibe and eliminates a nice, quiet or even romantic atmosphere. It's almost anxiety inducing. I really wish they would change it as it's a major turn-off for dining inside. I do highly recommend their Suntory Toki Old Fashioned. It's one of the best I've ever had anywhere. Its. Immaculately crafted and blended using the wonderful Bittercube bitters. As someone who lived in Japan for a couple of years and ate a lot of sushi, this is easily one of, if not the best, sushi places in Wisconsin. It's just too bad they don't care to make a nicer atmosphere inside the actual restaurant, or else I would visit more often than just in the summer when you can dine outside. (5 atmosphere outside, 1.5 inside)"

"I would not at all recommend Wilfrid`s for their buffet brunch. While the cold buffet offers a few higher end choices, such as cold prawns, smoked salmon and fresh lettuce with its accoutrements, the mixed salads are nondescript and loaded with objectionable ingredients. The hot buffet is unimaginative, limited and in my experience at least, always dried up, unappetizing and overcooked, even when the buffet opens. Half empty selections are neither rearranged nor removed, there is a preponderance of either cheap cuts of beef, pork and other dishes which do not cater to traditional food restrictions, the fish is overdone and over spiced, and the so-called chef behind the counter is defensive and unhelpful. It is not possible to order an egg done the way you like it, the fresh fruit is tasteless and not ripe, there is no fresh squeezed juice or even semblance thereof, and the dessert table is uninspiring. On the positive front, the atmosphere is pleasant, though the chairs are so heavy that even a prize fighter would have trouble moving them in and out from the table. Depending on which server is assigned to your table, the service can be friendly, but even that is inconsistent, as the staff usually does not attend to the guests as they should, probably because it is a buffet. In short, use your hard earned dollars for an à la carte brunch somewhere else and possibly try this place for a drink and a snack."

"What a find! This well established Japanese restaurant has a separate, SIX page separate vegan menu, using vegetables, veggie meats, and the vegan tuna product called Ahimi for some of its sushi and hot dishes. Their menu has more options than most fully vegan Japanese restaurants! If you haven't tried it yet, Ahimi is made by a vegan company called Ocean Hugger and is made from tomatoes and looks like raw tuna without the fishy taste, and has a super smooth mouth feel. So yummy! We have really enjoyed all of the specialty rolls which are all beautifully prepared (see accompanying pics). I personally much preferred the Satay Roll to the Siesta Roll because I found the mango salsa a bit overpowering on the Siesta. Other favorites were the Veggie Thunder Roll, Super Green, and Hippie Roll. A number of the rolls and nigiri use tempura vegetables so there's an added punch. The Gyoza (dumplings) were pan fried and wonderful. We tried the Hibachi Teriyaki Tofu which was great if you're up for a BIG dose of fresh tofu. The Gardein Chicken and Herbivorous Butcher Steak entree was more interesting and really tasty. We also had the vegan KimChi Udon noodles which was very good but I would be better with less oil. Overall I think the vegan sushi is the real specialty of this place and besides the Gyoza, I would be perfectly happy just doing an all sushi dinner here and going lighter on the hot dishes. When we ate there preCOVID, the restaurant was spacious but very comfortable, and service was very attentive. Ask for Kim if you call to place an order. She curated the vegan menu and was super helpful, although isn't there every night. Updated from previous review on 20210217"

"This is still my favorite sushi and hibachi restaurant in the metro Atlanta area! I am willing to go out of my way to dine at this gem because I know I will always receive a high-quality meal, which can be hard to find these days. The service is consistent and fast, and the hibachi experience is always enjoyable. Although we usually order takeout, we dined in for the first time since the pandemic last night. I always go for the teriyaki chicken bento box, while my friend loves the house fried rice (I sneak some of his shrimp). We started with pork gyoza, pan-fried, and the bento box provided a complete Japanese culinary experience. It includes miso soup with fried tofu and mushrooms, a fresh salad with ginger or ranch dressing (ginger is the best choice), and a California roll, shrimp tempura, pork gyoza, fried rice, and teriyaki chicken. Brown rice is available for an additional charge. The restaurant also has a fully stocked bar with a variety of drinks to enjoy. I will continue to frequent this place for as long as I can. It's just that good."

"we went to Mancy’s with high expectations, but they were anything but fulfilled. for beginners, the water is not even drinkable. that made me worry about the rest of our meal, wondering how they might cook something decent with it. Surprisingly, the garnel cocktail was good. it included four large garnels and a cocktail sauce. I can't say that the garnels were all these tasteful, but they were cooked properly and we are fresh with good texture. I had the manhattan clam chowder, who was very tasteful and the best part of our meal. my man had the crab and maize scissors who was hardly warm and not very good at all. the other complaining regarding the suppen is that for $6 and $7...read more"

"I have gone to 3 different Kabuki locations and this one on Colorado in Pasadena is by far the worse. I was very embarrassed that I was boasting about the food at Kabuki’s because the other locations were great. This one had terrible service. I have gone here about 3X over the past 10 years (mostly convenience) and each time was a bad experience. I will most definitely never come back and o do not recommend it to anyone. I figured over time it will have been better, nope. It was worse. The last experience was negative due to the waitress in a rush to clock out and receive her tip and payment. Our order barely came in and she was leaving and insisted on us checking out. So, we were not able to get any service after that. We couldn’t get refills on drink. What’s worse is that the place was empty. There was a couple out on the patio and a small family that came in as we finished our dinner."

"The experience at Beijing Tokyo was exceptional, but the table service was lacking. It felt more like a cafeteria-style Asian food service rather than a full-service restaurant. PROs: Great sushi and excellent common tofu CONs: The table was dirty and we had to ask for it to be cleaned. Instead of cleaning it, we were offered another table. Eventually, the host cleaned the table. There were only teapots available, and we had to drink our tea out of glass cups. Unexpectedly, there were scallions loaded on the California tempura maki. We had to refill our own water, and when we mentioned it to the staff, they simply took the water pitcher away. The wait staff never returned to check on how we were doing or if we needed anything. Overall, the food was good but the service left much to be desired."

"My fiancé and I ordered off the Chinese Menu. She ordered the Lo Mein and I ordered the Sesame Chicken. Both dishes were delicious. If you are wondering whether to order the small or large portion, just know it took me two separate meal times to finish my large dish. The large portion would be good to share with someone, or good to save for the next day's leftovers. We will definitely be returning customers. Friendly service and fresh food."
"I went here a lot when I first moved into the area, so when I recently moved back into the local area, I was not only happy to find them still open, but that their sushi is still just as wonderful! Being a purely takeout place, I tend towards rolls ratherthan cuts of fish, as I'd rather have the latter fresh rather than travel home with it. But the rolls are wonderful, from thebasics (I'm a big fan of salmon skin) to their higher-end rolls with eel. My wife is very fond of their grilled salmon roll, although once it did come quite overcooked, when every other time it's been perfectly grilled and tender. That was just oneblemish on an otherwise spotless record of wonderful sushi. I do with the boba tea options were on the website, as we sometimesforget when placing an order."

"I had lunch at this restaurant right after a visit to Costco on a Sunday. They opened at 11 AM, and since we were a party of three, we were seated immediately in a cozy booth with a pleasant ambiance. We arrived quite hungry and were eager to indulge in some good sushi, as options in the Phenix City-Columbus area are limited. After spending $177, we left feeling completely satisfied with both our meal and the overall experience. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area or traveling that way. We tried a variety of dishes including the Pink Lady, crispy spicy tuna roll, soft shell crab, uni, and fried calamari. Our favorite sushi was the Foxy Lady, and the trio tartare was also very good. The sashimi selection was excellent, featuring octopus, tuna, yellowtail, and salmon."

"We ordered to-go but I don’t think I would be returning…. I would five this place 2.5 stars..Agedashi is not what I expected. I don’t think this place knows how to make a proper agedashi tofu. This was just a dish that you would see at a Korean restaurant as a side dish. Extremely disappointed.Shrimp and vegetable tempura was okay. The veggie tempura was good but the shrimp tempura’s batter was awful. It was hard and very difficult to chew without cutting up inside of my mouth. They should have used the same batter as the veggie tempura.Next we ordered 4 different rolls. They were okay. The rice seems like it wasn’t properly marinated, the amount of rice on the rolls were excessive, and lastly the rice was over cooked. The rice was very mushy. Hopefully it wasn’t old rice they microwaved as it tends to make the rice extremely soft and loses a lot of the rice vinegar flavor.Overall, I would not recommend this place nor would I go back a second time."

"Went there for my birthday, best meal I have ever had, and my family and I are huge food people. It’s one of the reasons we love to travel in America and worldwide. Catherine was a fabulous server Who curated our ten course tasting meal. Everything they brought was perfectly cooked and my kids and I loved all the different fare. Emma also did an amazing job of making sure we were taken care of. More than a meal, It was an amazing experience, and I was recommended to anybody. Would definitely return"
