"Great place to hung out and grab some bites with friends and family. Staff was amazing and saw to it that my friends and I were sorted out and comfortable. Very Affordable and have amazing burger and hotdog combos. Great music choice btw. This is a good place to chill and relax and talk whiles getting tasteful food. Place was busy so we had to wait awhile either than that it was amazing"

"I visited Portillo's based on a coworker's recommendation, who praised their Italian beef sandwich. He suggested I order it "dipped," so I did, but all that did was turn a rather bland sandwich into a soggy one. He also recommended the cheese fries, and I went along with that as well. Unfortunately, the fries seemed to come from the bottom of the fryer – they were the smallest and least appealing ones – and the cheese sauce tasted like basic canned nacho cheese. I was really let down for the second time today. Perhaps there are other items on the menu that are better, but I’m not eager to give it another shot. I'm giving it two stars only because the atmosphere was nice and the restaurant was very clean."

"Portillo's is always a top-notch place to eat. My Spicy Chicken Sandwich was absolutely delicious! However, my girlfriend tried the Chicken Diavolo Pasta and found it a bit lacking in flavor; it tasted bland and wasn't what it used to be. The fries, on the other hand, were fantastic! I loved their crispy exterior and light, fluffy interior. I’ve heard so many great things about the Chocolate Cake Shake but hadn’t tried it until now. I'm glad I did—it's definitely worth the hype! It was incredibly tasty, and the cake at the bottom was something else entirely. While the pasta didn’t meet our expectations, Portillo's remains a spot that is generally consistently delicious."

"portillo’s has always been a place of high quality food. pasta: love it, hot dogs: ingenious, burger: excellent, etc., however, the wobble rings are a complete foaming. Why was that they say? because when you pass the incredibly crispy outside, the woof is thin. maybe even less than paper thin. wobbles were always one of my favorites and I had much so thought I have a reasonably good idea of a quality wobbles ring when I see it. I often had portillos wobbles and it's always the same through wobble. if they don't mind giving up their money, what I call on onions-flameed-bread-crumm rings, they'll go for it. if she 've a taste for real wobble rings, I can respectfully suggest popeyes on rt 64 59. Yeah, I get the family size for me. they are great. most popeyes do they not so enjoy them while they can. portillo has many good options for eating, bevelling rings are not one of them."

"First time at a Portillo's, we were super excited but my goodness what a hot mess from order to finish. The Cashier was very friendly, but she couldn't hear the order and it was wrong. We had to go back three times to get a cheeseburger correct. Inwhich the two manager/crew leaders or whatever they were, gave my husband an attitude, while remaking the cheeseburger threetimes. The bread that came with the garden salad was hard like a brick, no flavor and the fountain soda was flat with nocarbonation. The only reason I gave this experience a 2 star, is because the restaurant was semi clean and the restrooms, wereclean and stocked."

"Having lived in Chicago previously, I was thrilled to discover this, with their Chicago Style hot dogs. They're just as I remember them, as is the Maxwell Street polish sausage. The onion rings are probably my favorite of any place, as the batter is crunchy yet light, and it doesn't overpower the onions. The portions, when it comes to fries and onion rings and drinks, are quite large. I could do with smaller drink size availability. The chocolate cake is practically decadent, and they will give you a free piece on your birthday if you register your birth date. The atmosphere is really fun and upbeat, with a lot of old photos that include the first version of Portillo's way back when, and vintage signs and other memorabilia on the wall. Service is great. I don't think I've ever eaten in there when someone didn't come by and check to make sure it's all okay. From the counter people that take the orders to the people who call out your order in rhyme when it's ready, they've all been friendly when I've been in there. It's very clean. It's kid-friendly, and parking in the lot in front is plentiful. Also there is a really nice outdoor patio to sit at during good weather."

"Service was terrible which is really weird because they have Soo many people working there, my order was ready but they never called my number i was standing there for almost 10 minutes until I approached the counter to check my order... it was sitting there, the same bag I saw them place there 10 minutes earlier... Now for the food..we ordered chicken tenders combo, chicken tenders were pretty decent size but unfortunately we're bland no flavor, french fries on the other hand were cooked perfectly and tasted great. Then ordered two different chili dogs One skinless one with skin and I honestly could not taste the difference between portillo's and wienerschnitzel... (I'm sorry but do these chilli cheese dogs look appetizing in my photos?, to make matters worse they placed them upside down in my bag) But I definitely noticed the price after everything was said and done it came out to almost $25.00 One other thing that was pretty disappointing was as my kids I went to wash our hands The men's restroom had such strong smell of urine that we walked rite out used our own hand sanitizer...Nobody there seemed to care or wanted to clean it.. so it's probably safe to say our family won't be patronizing this establishment anytime soon again."

"The first time here. Probably this nice little cozy place often happened and if it is winter or cold outside, you want to find the warmest and most coziest spots. Well, that's one of them and it's easy to reach and there are many family seating options and service is fast. The lentil soup is fantastic, but the pizza crust on this 12 meat lover, I think needs a slight boost in taste. The pizza was perfectly boiled and not burned from below and was slightly crisp, definitely not soggy. I was a little dumped to learn that some pizzas are not wood-fired baked including this meat lover pizza. You should sell the pizza from the slice, even if only 2 decisions and only then I would stop more often."

"Takes too long. 17 minutes from the time of order to receiving food. It just looked like absolute chaos behind the counter with everyone literally running around, bags with orders attached to them being thrown all over the place, orders being called in no particular order even though the sign said “orders will be called in order.” We were order 284 and I listened as orders 295 and 310 were called out before us. Every order ahead of us received theirs on a special tray with drink holders. My order had 3 bags and 2 drinks but they gave me no tray. I was tempted to go sit down and wait for our order to be called since they were calling them out over the loud speaker, but I’m glad I didn’t because for some reason, our order was the only order they didn’t call out over the speaker and I would have missed it. Food was pretty good. Don’t need to go back."

"I travel to Manassas for work and I typically never eat here but they were passing out discount cards so I said why not I?ll try it. Worst discussion EVER. The pizza looked old but they said oh no it?s not old and we but it in the oven for you so ok I order a pepperoni and sausage slice of pizza. I get through half of the slice and look down at the pizza and it a big on my pizza. Disgusting, I went to get a refund and they were upset with me bc I didn't want another slice of pizza and they had to give me my money back. Worst place ever and they never said sorry. This place doesn?t deserve any stars."

"I ordered a shake at the drive-thru and there were three cars in front of me. I would have been late for work if it weren't for the incredibly polite, quick, and attentive young Latino employee! He took my order promptly, rushed inside, and returned with my shake much sooner than I expected. Thanks to his exceptional service, I was able to get to work right on time. This young man deserves a raise or some kind of recognition—employees like him are hard to come by these days."

"This locations night crew is horrible. We came through the drive thru over an hour before they close. After the drive thru employee repeated our order we corrected her that we did not want onions on our order, she had an extremely rude response. After getting to the window and getting our receipt we saw that the request was not put on the receipt. So before the drive thru employee handed us the food we once again asked if they put onions on the food. She replied yes and that she would have them fix it. She walked away from the window with our bag and returned with the food. We drove off and checked and there were onions, so she had literally just handed us back the same bag with no correction. After going back inside the store we got the order corrected finally. We left and once we got home we noticed that our shakes had not been blended. This restaurant is not cheap! And they failed to the simplest task. The employees working the windows need a lesson on customer service. We love Portillos. But save yourself from visiting this location. Ridiculous!"

"I visited Portillo’s Greenfield and placed my order and sat inside 8/26/22. Our order came fresh but we had been given a burger instead of the chicken sandwich I ordered. As I got up with my receipt to correct the mistake your employee Vito swiftly assisted me before I could even approach the counter. He was so friendly and caring and took care of it right away. Got our chicken sandwich fresh, and brought over a chocolate cake slice for the inconvenience. It was my grandmother’s favorite before she past and her heavenly birthday is tomorrow, so this made me really sentimental. I just wanted to thank Vito for his kindness and great service, and wanted his great service to be recognized. I will recommend this location to everyone I know. "This was my first time eating at Portillo's and I was looking forward to it having heard many good things online about the cake shake and Italian beef. Overall I'm going to have to give it another try but not this restaurant in particular.The food was pretty darn good overall. My fries were crispy and the sandwiches were hearty and well prepared. BUT, the shake machine was down which was almost the entire reason I wanted to try this place and the guy taking my order, Anthony, clearly didn't want to be there and when I asked further questions about the status of the shake machine, I was met with a healthy dose of sarcasm. The guy behind the bar also looked dazed and confused most of the time we were there.Overall a bit salty I wasn't able to try a cake shake and left feeling a bit cheated by low quality service."

"The only Portillos in the whole Tampa Bay area. They need to open a Portillos around the Clearwater peninsula-maybe on Gulf to Bay Boulevard or by the mall off of Rt. 19. Only stopped here because it was on the way from Lakeland, Florida to Clearwater. I had the usual Italian combo sausage and beef, dipped and for extra charge I love to add melted mozzarella cheese and both sweet and hot peppers. Very oily from the hot peppers but that's why it's so good. No other place has ever been able to match the taste and secret spices that go into the sausage. Worth the drive every so often and the Cheeseburger with bacon is my other favorite I get from this chain. Quite possibly the best cheeseburger from a fast food restaurant."
