"On Friday, I ordered a sandwich with everything and mayo, but requested no mayo due to my allergies. Unfortunately, the sandwich came with mayo and was dry. I decided to give the restaurant another chance on Monday and ordered a cheese steak sandwich with no mayo and paprika. It took half an hour for my lunch to arrive, and when it did, the sandwich had mayo all over it. I had to wait 15 minutes before I could finally eat it. I will not be returning to this place again. However, the woman at the register was very apologetic and refunded my money. This issue with food allergies must be taken seriously for the safety of myself and others. I will only give this place 2 stars for the helpful employee, but overall, it is not worth risking my life to eat here again."

"The service was excellent as well. Everyone who attended to us was very friendly, and our food arrived in a reasonable timeframe. My only complaint would be the ambiance. As some other reviews pointed out, there’s a lot happening all around. I may not agree with every sign or decoration choice, but that’s not a significant issue. The main downside for me was the noise level. They had live music on Friday night (not sure if it’s every night), and it was quite loud, making it a bit challenging to hold a conversation. I can see why a place like this draws a crowd in the area. It has a charming Southern and old Florida vibe in a small town I didn’t even know existed."

"I ordered online and was told my order would be ready in 15 minutes. When I arrived to pick it up, they hadn't even started making the pizzas! There was a long line of frustrated customers, and many were receiving incorrect orders, cold pizzas, or burnt ones. It was unbelievable! They couldn't even give me an estimate on how much longer it would take—how do you not know that? They really need to hire better staff. There were about 10 of us who wanted refunds. It was a very disappointing experience, especially here in Porterville!"

"I got everything vegan. Okro soup and fufu and pepper chicken. The Okro soup had no flavor at all. I had to add alot of my own seasoning so I was disappointed and i’m not sure why but my fufu tasted soapy and bitter. The vegan pepper chicken however was good. "This restaurant has a dog-friendly outdoor area, complete with a bowl of water for my dogs. The staff is friendly and attentive, patiently answering all my questions. The smoked salmon tacos featured generous pieces of salmon and came with a delicious mango salsa. While there is some traffic noise, the parking is ample and convenient. The bathroom was clean, which I appreciated. I also liked that I was not seated in a back corner near the garbage cans, a situation that often occurs when I dine alone. I felt valued, treated with the same care, kindness, and respect as any larger group. I highly recommend this place."
