"05/23/17 Thanks to Veronica, I 'm now giving them 5 stars instead of 2! Thank you Veronica for saving the day! I just got home from the hospital after a 2nd surgery to fix my leg and ankle that isn 't healing right. I had to break the news to the birthday boy that I couldn 't even get a cake ordered for his birthday. (Online ordering still doesn 't work. At 11:45 this morning, I called BR to inquire what cakes are available in the freezer. The only choice is an Oreo cookie cake because my son only likes white cake and vanilla ice cream. (We just had that 10 days ago for his sister 's birthday. So, I told Veronica I 'd take it because we have to celebrate. What Veronica says to me next is what made me come back and change my review... If you just want something simple, I can make it for you. We don 't have any orders today. And with that right there, Veronica just saved the day! Thank you so much Veronica! Original Post: Trying to place a cake order, but they refuse to answer their phone. The answering machine comes on and it doesn 't even acknowledge that they are BR. After 15 minutes of trying to call, someone FINALLY answers the phone. They told me I needed to order my cake with a 24 hour advance notice. I explained I only want an Oreo Cake from their freezer, and that I just need to know what 's available. She says I need to come in and see, pick one out, and then they can write on it for me. I then needed to explain how I have a broken ankle and leg and can 't come down there...I just wanted to have it ready so I can send someone to come pick it up. With that explanation, she became nice and helpful. But seriously, why not just be nice and helpful to begin with? Why do I need to explain my horrible situation? And for that, it 's 2 stars instead of 5. All she needed to do was be nice from the start. I used to work in retail/grocery stores. I know it is not easy."
