Everything was basically perfect. Absolutely delicious! The food was not only presented beautifully but the taste was out of this world. I loved that the menu was small because they did everything exceptional instead of trying to have so many different options. We got a regular menu item and one of the specials and split it. Food was amazing as always. Kevin was great and accommodated me with a private room on short notice so that I could do a presentation. Staff was very good at reading room before telling us about specials, asking about refills on drinks, and taking orders. Will be doing my dinner presentations here from here on out. We were staying overnight in Macon saw some great reviews on TA about Dovetail! Unfortunately, we were too late to get reasonable reservations, now know why! We decided to chance seats at the bar it worked! We encourage that route! Unique drinks, yummy appetizers, fabulous dinners!! We needed to take the delicious dessert back to our hotel!! Wow,,, Dovetail is deserving of all accolades! TY for making our visit memorable!

My girlfriend and I went here for a fun date night and had a great time. First and foremost I am going to talk about their $68 16oz Ribeye Steak special. The steak was served with goat cheese mash potatoes and those were AMAZING. As for the steak itself, it was completely bland! It was served with sauce on top and you could not even taste the sauce. The steak itself was tender though but did not make up for how flavorless it was. I enjoyed their signature Dovetail burger which was served with fries. The burger itself was amazing, the bacon jam was sweet and was countered with pickles which was a good combo. The fries were pretty good and had some great seasoning. We got a side of Mac n Chees...
