Joe's Crab Shack Des Moines

Food wasn’t good for what you pay for. Service was poor. Restaurant floors were sticky. Won’t be going back.

I get trying to get fresh seafood in Iowa isn't cheap, but I would advise to try other restaurants in the area.

The service at this restaurant was awful. We were there for two hours and had to go to the bar multiple times to get what we needed.

the food did not come out at the same time, and the food that first came out was already cold. had the coconut wars, was not as good as red lobsters. enjoyed sitting next to the jordan bachteich, although it smells like water.

Service was terrible. Waited 20 minutes and then had to go forward to ask where our waitress was. The food was on average. Never was asked about refills. Waited 15 minutes until the waiter returns to get credit card. The best part of the experience was simple reservation. Ver carta

Nuestra experiencia en Joe's fue excelente. Fuimos allí el día de San Valentín y estaba ocupado, pero nunca sentimos que no nos atendieran adecuadamente. A dos de nosotros nos encanta el marisco y a los otros dos no, pero los cuatro disfrutamos comiendo allí. Todo estaba caliente y estaba delicioso. ¡Gracias Joe's Crab Shack!

Nos decepcionó mucho nuestra visita. No recibimos nuestras ensaladas de sopa de antemano. Finalmente vimos a nuestra camarera media hora más tarde y preguntamos por ellos. Los recibimos justo a tiempo para nuestras cenas. Todas nuestras comidas estaban apenas calientes. Definitivamente no caliente como debería ser. No vimos a nuestra camarera durante otros minutos, así que no enviamos nuestras comidas a la cocina. Para colmo, nos dio nuestra cuenta en la mesa de al lado y la de ellos para nosotros. Lets start by saying that I drove 2 hours to go there. We ordered 3 steam pots and they came without ANY seasoning at all when we ordered with garlic season. Not one of them but ALL of them. As part of the order we added some lobster tails that someone forgot, either the waiter or in the kitchen so they arrived 15 minutes after the food was in the table. We requested to talk to the Manager about it and he came to the table and what he said was totally non-sense. Because we complain, the waiter decided to not to come back to our table, so no more service. We asked for a split check, and guess what, they didn't do it either. The experience was AWFUL.
