"Me and my husband stopped in for a burger. The cashier was not friendly at all. We told her the single burger combo- husband double meat combo and she asked how we wanted it. I said we wanted it all the way. She proceeded to ask what kind of cheese. Wesaid American. The total was $32 and some change. I asked how is that if combos are 11.99 and 13.99. She said cheese is extra. Ilooked at menu $1.59 for a piece of cheese. My goodness!!! I told her no please take it off. It still was so expensive evenafter that!! And I found out later we could have gotten a senior discount! It?s like the young girl with purple hair on herponytail just didn?t care! She had to have known after the cheese incident we were trying to save a little on the really highprice of this basic fried thin piece of meat hamburger! Why wouldn?t she have offered us a senior discount? I?ll tell you whybecause she truly didn?t care! We almost walked out before she ordered because of the way she didn?t greet us friendly likeFlying Burger should have trained her to do!! I just had to give everyone a heads up about this place!! It was way toooverpriced for a senior watching their money!!! I posted the prices and took a picture of an updated menu! We seniors need towatch each other?s backs!!"

"2/4/2024 my sister and I dined at the Ruston, LA El Jarrito restaurant around 1 pm. From the broken chips and the way too spicy salsa we were served first to the end of the experience it was obvious we picked the wrong restaurant. I ordered a chicken taco salad and my sister ordered shrimp enchiladas. My taco salad was very soggy. There had to be a 1/2 cup of sour cream that had been mixed thoroughly into the salad greens making the salad white. It was terrible. My sister complained about her meal as well and ate maybe a fourth of it.Regarding the service-non existence except for the taking of the order and dropping off the check and she dropped the check so fast I never had a chance to speak to her about the food. Then she just vanished.We had to ask another server to find our server since we were ready to go. The other server said she’d get our server but then came back apologizing that our server was too busy splitting 20 checks at a large table so the other server took my card and check to our server. Our server eventually came and saw all the leftovers and offered to go containers and of course we declined."

"I had a wonderful culinary experience for the first time at this restaurant. Both the food and service were outstanding. Our waitress, Francesca, was incredibly helpful and attentive. For appetizers, we ordered the filet medallions and shrimp martini, and for the main course, we had the ribeye steak, baked potato, and sautéed mushrooms. Everything was cooked to perfection. The medallions were so tender that I could cut them with my fork. We will definitely be returning!"

"I always LOVE Raising Cane's, partly for nostalgia from my Baton Rouge days living in walking distance from the original, and partly because the Sauce!!!!! But I rarely come in to sit down. This time, they were doing a fundraiser for the local high school band, so it was a command appearance. Nevertheless, I was impressed that the customer service was just as good inside as it was through the window, and the food just as crazy good and fresh. I love it!"
