S&S Cafeteria - Carta

Love S&S! I miss the ones in my area. This one is definitely dated and could use a good update for the furniture and fixtures but the food was good.Food: 5/5

I’ve eaten here for years but today everything was terrible. Cornbread tasted sour, broccoli salad had no sauce or raisins. All the food was terrible. If there is a new cook. I won’t return here.

Friday I had a chance to visit the S&S off Eisenhower and had an exceptional meal. The fried pork chop was fantastic. Combined with a salad and turnip greens. I 110% recommend that if you are in Macon, to visit S&S Cafeteria! Ver carta

I cannot recommend this restaurant at all. The food was subpar, and to make matters worse, I found hair in my meal. When I brought this to their attention, they simply told me to sit down. That’s poor customer service. I will definitely not be returning. Food rating: 1/5.

They need more line servers. Normally only 2 or 3 people. I don't want to have to wait for a worker to come from serving a customer vegetables to get me a salad and then walk me all the way. Very inconvenient. No hot water in restrooms. Food is hit ormiss. Waitresses are very nice and attentive. Julie and jasmine were great

We got take out last night and it was a hot mess. People in there had been waiting 40 mins for food. I ended up leaving and coming back and at that point my food was done but I wanted to order something else and I stood there for like 20 mins waiting for someone to come take my order. Then one of the ladies there was just talking under her breathe about people and she was not pleasant at all. We love going here but do better take out. We love ms Sharon everytime we go she is always so nice and helpful. Ver carta

We dined with this restaurant saturday. The food that I did eat was ok. I got a slice of sweet potatoe pie a side of Mac and cheese but took it home with me. I got home that night and took a bite of pie and bit down on something crunchy. I spit it outand it was an egg shell. I used my fork to go through the pie and I found more bigger egg shells. I looked through the mac andcheese and found a piece of hair on one of the shells. I tried to call to let them know, but the number in Google and on theirwebsite was incorrect.

I've heard so many people raving about this restaurant and how great it is, but my experience with the veggie plate I ordered today was quite the opposite. The rice was mushy, the turnip greens tasted like they came from a can of aluminum—honestly, I've had better from a can of Glory greens. The butter beans were completely flavorless, and while the mac and cheese was decent, the noodles were overcooked and too soft. From now on, I think I'll just stick to making my own meals. On the plus side, the delivery was pretty quick!

My family and I love S S cafeteria. We are from Florida and travel through Macon quite often going to visit family in Chicago. We make it a point to stop and get food from you guys even if we aren’t hungry.Today, Miss Sharon went above and beyond for us. We all just really wanted a bunch of your crazy good mac cheese, and didn’t realize for a larger order of mac cheese, you need to place an order at least 6 hours in advance. Miss Sharon worked with the cook to get us a half pan of mac cheese as walk in customers. The hospitality was, as usual, amazing. We love you guys so much.
