1911 is a treasure waiting to be discovered! The atmosphere, food, and service were outstanding!

We went for pizza night and pizzas were delicious. Beautiful old hotel. Wouldn’t hesitate to return.

We had the signature salads, whitefish and walleye, creme brulee and apple tart. Everything was excellent. Would definitely return. Ver carta

This was our first time to visit. We were very pleased. The food was delicious and loved the atmosphere. Our only complaint is we had a new waitress and I’m not sure we would have ever received our food except the owner was on top of things and made sure we were taken care of. We will definitely go back!

We had a wonderful experience! Our server was amazing! I can’t remember her name but she had awesome glasses : she took such wonderful care for us and even made me a sangria when they don’t even have them there. She was so confident. The food was amazing! We are so happy we spent our anniversary dinner here!

Like stepping back in time. The dining room atmosphere is wonderful and perfectly classic. The friendly service from Mai lea made us us feel very welcome and she was very attentive. Wine selection was nice. The food was so so flavors were pleasant but some sides were underdone and somemeat was overcooked. The desserts were delicious, especially the hot fudge sundae. Friends have been dining here for years and it came highly recommended. Went for a special anniversary/ date night meal. Food was fair for value. Had spin dip and crab cakes for apps. Spin dip was generic, very good pita chips, crab cakes had a decent amount of crab, and a good sauce. Clam chowder served barely warm. Beet salad was the highlight of entire meal. Sirloin was chewy. Whitefish was ok, slightly over cooked, and the tomato was stuffed with the spin dip, not very exciting. Service was slow, didn’t keep drinks refilled efficiently. Server was pleasant. Manager came by to check on everything, was wearing denim, would think they would be more professionally dressed for the environment...

Beautiful area and building, with friendly staff. Belinda checked us in and then was also there at check out time; she was especially lovely and so was everyone else. We had room 100, which I think was the largest room with a king bed, oversizedbathtub, large shower and bathroom. We were right off the main sitting room and next door to another room but it was very quietall night long. The restaurant was exquisite but we had a large lunch in town so weren?t hungry for dinner unfortunately so wedidn?t try it. But we ate in the dining room for the buffet breakfast. I was researching what to do to celebrate my 18th anniversary with my wife when I came across this hotel. My wife usually prefers to stay at places that are right on one of the Great Lakes so I was taking a gamble when I chose the Terrace Inn. Afterresearching the area a little more I knew that she would love the hotel and the whole Bay View area. She was instantlyimpressed when we got into the area and fell in love with the hotel the second we pulled up. We have always shared a love ofhistorical buildings and we absolutely adored everything about the Terrace Inn.
