"Cute smoke shack, amazingly friendly and polite staff, a little on the pricey side and the food was not that great. Got the 2 meats and 2 sides. The brisket was beyond dry and no flavor other than the smoke. Ribs were very moist, fall off the bone butagain no flavor other than the natural smoke flavor when smoking meat. When I go to a BBQ place, I want BBQ and not a blandpiece of meat with absolutely nothing in it. Yes, there was BBQ sauce on the side but I want it cooked on the ribs along withother seasoning. The mac and cheese was mushy and very bland as well. Corn bread was so dry and tasted a few days old. Hushpuppies were so over cooked, you couldn't eat them (rock hard and just about black in color). I've seen and been to realsouthern smoked BBQ places and I'm sorry to say, you should be ashamed to say it's southern BBQ. The south would be extremelydisappointed. Maybe you should give customers options if they want their food dry or smoked with BBQ sauce, but please seasonthe meats. Seasoning your food is the utmost importance next to it being juicy and tender. Maybe watch some of the Texas BBQcookoffs to get some ideas?!"
