The new chef has really elevated their food offerings. Staff is largely seasoned and knowledgeable. highly recommended.

We only had drinks here, but the service was amazing. We sat outside and got the best treatment. The flower bubble fountain thing was so cool. Thanks for the amazing experience to share with our friends from out of town! Voir le carte

The restaurant offers delicious, sophisticated, high-quality cuisine in an elegant setting. While it may be pricey, the food is worth the cost as it is truly exceptional. The scallops, salmon, potatoes, and leeks were all fantastic.

Barrel and Fork in Lake Norman may offer the best dining experience my significant other and I have had since moving to the Charlotte area. The service staff, from the hostesses to the manager, were all incredibly friendly and attentive. We started at the bar with a bartender named Jed, who was extremely knowledgeable and personable. Despite being busy, he took the time to craft incredible drinks for us, making our experience truly unique. Our server Shannon was also fantastic and very attentive. It's rare to find a place that deserves a perfect 10/10 rating, but we honestly couldn't find anything wrong with our experience. We will definitely be returning!

My partner and I dined at Barrel Fork for the first time tonight. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the restaurant's history and menu. Even though I'm not a cocktail drinker, I enjoyed my man's smoked Old Fashioned, which came in a small container to keep the smoke intact. The calamari was flavorful and delicious. Our entrees (filet and scallops) were good, but the appetizers we ordered were on the smaller side. The lobster mac and cheese was overly salty to the point where we couldn't finish it. This was one of the worst meals I've ever had in my life. Our waiter was so aggressive and high strung that he seemed like he was on drugs, and continuously addressed my mother and girlfriend as you guys despite being in a restaurant with $60 entrees and white tablecloths.The first course was fine, but the rest of the food was awful. I ordered a $62 ribeye and asked for it medium, it came out so rare that it was cold in the center and extremely chewy. My girlfriend has been dying to try this spot so we went for dinner. Immediately was greeted by who may have been the owner and was super nice, our waitress and the bartender were also outstanding people and incredibly friendly. The vibe there is a bit like a speakeasy and trendy for sure. The food was excellent here, as well as their waitstaff. And we loved their cocktails. Ours came out with rosemary in it that they lit on fire. It was amazing. This is a very nice and expensive establishment. With drinks, appetizer, and mains our cost for two people was over $300, which we expected. The house is beautiful, and we enjoyed sitting outside on the porch. However, we were very surprised by the attire of the hostesses.
