Cafe Fresco - Carte

Delicious food. Epic desert. Don't miss the tiramisu. Inside tends to be a bit noisy, but the opportunity to sit creekside outside makes up for it. Please do yourself a favor and visit this lovely local spot and eschew the chain places in town.

Sadly the quality of food and breadth of offerings has changed greatly from pre Covid. Regretfully, our mussels, salmon and chicken were either on the verge of turning bad or poorly prepared.. Hopefully this go to restaurant can regain its former stature

We had a great dinner last night; what a wonderful restaurant. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable. The food was so good! I got the yummy Ciopinno special, which was a favorite, and my husband got the lasagna, which was the best we have had. It was a great night! Voir le carte

Food: Food was good! Came out quick which is always nice! The Chicken Parmesan was good especially the actual chicken but the sauce was basic and tasted kind of bland. Spaghetti bolognese was really good!! Just wish there was a little more sauce. Service: Server was very friendly and attentive. She was very well versed in the menu. Atmosphere: Very dark and romantic setting. Has nice candles and quiet vibe.

I had the meatballs, while my wife ordered the chicken dish with gluten-free pasta. Unfortunately, the pasta was a bit undercooked. Our server was not very attentive and came across as a bit curt when we decided to skip dessert. However, we’re willing to give it another try, as it might have just been an off night. As for dietary options, gluten-free pasta was available but not cooked properly. Overall, we experienced dine-in service during dinner.

Fresco Cafe is a beautiful setting for dinner. Unlike other Italian restaurants in the area, you will be served a healthy portion of pasta. The baked ricotta is delicious. The bolognese was a bit of a let down, as it was overpowered by prosciutto flavor; was hoping for a more traditional, tomato, acidic sauce. The bison, mushroom, fettucine special did meet expectations; the bison was not cooked properly and was chewy. We have had better pasta here before, but overall the service and atmosphere is lovely. For my main course, I had the Chicken Parmigiano with fettuccine pasta. Unfortunately, the pasta was cut into thirds, making it impossible to twirl on my fork. The sauce was decent, but the breading on the chicken fell off as soon as I cut into it. My wife ordered the ravioli, which came with five pieces in her entrée. The pasta was exceptionally thick, making it difficult to eat the edges, and it was slightly overcooked and very chewy. Overall, the restaurant shows potential, but it could benefit from some adjustments to improve the dishes.

I visited this restaurant for dinner and had a wonderful experience overall. The meal was fantastic, with a perfect score of 5 for the food. Each dish was expertly prepared and bursting with flavor. The service was also commendable, earning a solid 4; the staff was attentive and friendly, though there were a couple of minor delays. The atmosphere was the highlight of the night, with a charming ambiance that set the perfect tone for an enjoyable evening, also deserving a 5. The price per person was reasonable, ranging from $30 to $50. I would highly recommend this place!

12/14/23. Review update ANOTHER FABULOUS MEAL Shrimp Fettuccine was amazing and delicious! Wine selection wonderful and Josie our server was outstanding! Exceptional meal all around!!! There were nine of us and we were treated phenomenally!!!! Thank you!!! This by far, is one of the best Italian restaurants I have ever eaten at. I have eaten in the North End in Boston many times and my meal at Fresco Cafe was an exceptional meal ... Flavorful food, timely, fresh, pleasant and friendly staff, tasteful wine selection and lovely ambiance. If you like Italian, yes this is the place to eat in Bozeman.
