Best petite filet mignon ever. Buttery soft. Crab cake good as usual. Soft rolls. Dessert was apple crisp and chocolate lava.

Food was bad and the place inside looks very rundown. Looks like the place has not been touched up in 20+ years City was very crowded that night but place was empty. Felt like a restaurant that should be on Kitchen Nightmares.

This was my first visit and WOW! Very nice place, quant ambiance, great food selections. The crab dip appetizer and Asian shrimp noodle bowl is excellent! Prices are reasonable four people could eat for under $100.00. Plenty of parking in lot next toentrance. Friendly staff. Nice open diningroom plus bar sections. I recommend! Voir le carte

I also decided to try the coleslaw after reading some reviews, but I was underwhelmed. When I requested extra dressing, the server assured me she'd prepare it fresh. While I appreciated that it was indeed fresh, it lacked the classic coleslaw flavor and tasted more like plain raw cabbage. I probably wouldn't order it again, though everything else was enjoyable. As always, finding parking in downtown Reading can be a bit of a challenge, but there's a parking lot conveniently located right next to the restaurant. The food was good and the one waitress we had was very nice, but it's not the place to go unless you're very easy and want with what people say here. My aunt had a glass that was thrown on her when she asked the bartender here to restore her drink because the Seltzer was not strong at all. The waitress who took our orders would not suggest any other options for people who wanted something they didn't have. We didn't. She even refused to give our guest a single cup of ice on the first request until my father spoke some sense in them. Fish and chips were very good--the fish was cooked perfectly, moist and flakey, and the chips turned out to be waffle-cut fries which were also perfectly cooked and salted. Glad I had malt vinegar at home though since it did not come with it. Caesar salad was a little heavy on the dressing but I did not ask for it on the side so I guess that 's a little bit on me. So I was looking for a new place to try in Reading, PA for lunch and Chef Alans came up in my search. It wasnt bad. My burger was very tasty. The thick cut bacon did not let me down. It really complemented the burger rather than just become part of theburger. The french fries were not crunchy and over cooked. They were hot crispy and still held its fluffiness in thepotato.
