"I came here about 6 years ago and had the best brisket! We took our grandparents to ride the GSMR Train so naturally I went back yesterday. Had to get to go plates as we had 2 who were wheelchair bound and it was raining. When we got back to the hotel… Disappointed does not even cover it. It went from the best brisket I’ve had to the worst brisket I’ve ever put in my mouth. It was so tough I couldn’t even chew through it. Banana pudding was a five star experience though. Which is the only reason I gave it 3."

"our visit to foragers canteen was not planned that we have never been there, nor were we told about it. So we were green from the beginning. the first impression was the beautiful exterior, some with rainshade and others had no sunshades. for time we visited all tables with screens were used. So we chose to eat inside. which has proved itself well since the air conditioning. we had a great table next to the window to see the local shops and buyers. our waitress was very nice, although she seemed to be hostess, at the same time she waited for tables. She was attentive and her kick waitress was also helpful. our food was served quite fast, my guess was about 15 minutes. I had the snatching laughs, my wife had the veggie taco, who was actually two medium-sized tacos and contained a big salate. I thought my meal would be good, but not with a wow it was great in taste, but it was carved. would have been better if it were all laughs that were not mined. the side of the college, which I ordered with very good and somewhat larger than industry standards. up there on the claw. the price was good or fair for today's economy. the price structure is therefore difficult to judge lately because the economy. we can come back if I were in the opposite but would not say that I would go back diffinat. while I give 4 stars at the same time. if my assessment helped them in any way, choose the same taste."

"Beautiful building and colorful decor in a Mexican place of mind. While the Taco Bell across the street was jammed with cars waiting to place their drive-through orders, Mesquite was languishing for sales with only two or so tables of many beingused. Decor was colorful, restrooms were very clean and decorated with colorful tiles applied to the walls matched with ceramicsinks and counters in the epic bright colors of Mexico. The waiter, a nursing student at WNC, was very attentive. The food was... OK. We had the burrito, enchilada with rice and beans. I couldn't tell the burritos from the enchiladas. Both wereserved wet. I'm pretty sure the plates would not pass muster in Mexico."

"My goodness, I have no complaints. My wife and I rode the train today and our host was Emily, she suggested Boots Steakhouse. I can’t agree more, the staff was attentive, service was fast, food was better than perfect. Crab cakes, fried green tomatoes, steak, cream Spanish and asparagus. All of which were the best I have ever tasted. This was a perfect birthday dinner for my Stephanie. Food: 5"

"Great atmosphere, plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Very friendly and helpful service. The interior space is inviting and comfortable. The selection is pretty vast with hoppy and dark dominating the board. I didn't see any food options. As for the beers, you know my routine, reader beware, these comments are based on Bill's tastes and opinions. In summary, I couldn't drink any of the 6 hoppy beers on my flight. I've never left that much beer at a place. Not one beer appealed to me. I'd go back and try the darker options, but based on what I had, I'm not hopeful. I can't recommend this place, but that's based on MY taste in beer. You might love it"
