"There are lots of good mexican places in the area, but El Patron is clearly the best. I always tell myself I'm going to have leftovers, but the takeout never lasts because it's just so tasty. No weak points on the menu, plus the drinks are affordable and with high variety. The staff are also superheroes, honestly I have no idea how they give such good service even when the restaurant is totally packed. When I need a break from going to breweries, this is always my favorite spot to eat on a night out."

Best cheese dip and salsa in Sylva! Compared to most Mexican restaurants in the area, there is also a more extensive menu. We eat here at least once a week. You cannot go wrong with the choices of the Queen!

This new location near downtown is fantastic! They have multiple TVs for entertainment, and the food on the menu is excellent. You can choose to sit on the terrace, in the bar area, in special event rooms, or in the spacious dining room. There's also a salsa bar where you can select from 8 to 9 different salsas, ranging from mild to extra hot. Plus, they have ADA-compliant restrooms. Highly recommend! View menu

I'm not big on Mexican food but the family loves it, Never any issues with our orders that don't get resolved immediately. I can greatly appreciate the owner not only addressing customers, but jumping in and helping with serving and bussing when needed utmost respect for the man I frequently make custom orders, and there has never been a problem. P.S. I love the new place, much less waiting at busy times. Great place and family friendly
