"My husband and I love to go to local breweries and try the beer they make food whenever we are out of town! We came to this place when it was in the airplane hangar, while it seemed sort of bare bones it was really endearing, the staff was welcoming, the beer was good!We were excited to come back but we’re left really disappointed. After looking at the beer menu and realizing they only had 4 of their own we went up to order a brew some wings. They were out of the beer we were already settling for so we went with the amber ESB, not bad! The other options were a potter or a stout..We got 10 wings, 1/2 one sauce and 1/2 the other, they came out mostly dry and all drums even though we didn’t specify one way or the other we understand there has been a shortage and wings have been heavy hit but $15 for 10 drums barely sauced… ?We ordered a side of fries as well, they came out cold and it seemed like the bottom of the warm plate. While it was already a small portion, we couldn’t have even eaten half of it if we wanted to it was just crumbs.I understand how a review good or bad effects a place and I don’t like to leave bad ones but my husband and I both felt compelled after this experience.."

The beer was quite good, but I had to wait in a 40-minute line to get it, which honestly wasn't worth it. However, the surrounding area was really nice, which somewhat made up for the long wait.

Great place to stop after day of hiking! We sat outside with our pup, relaxed with a few beers and soaked up the great weather- service and other patrons were friendly. Typical bar food that hit the spot we came back a couple times on our trip to Bryson.

Loved the atmosphere and the building itself is very nice. Large and lots of seating.Good selection of beers but I’d love to see more from Nantahala Brewing and less guest taps!Food was quality, everyone enjoyed from burgers to chicken tenders and wings. Dog friendly!

Glad we stopped by. This brewery had mixed drinks, their beers on tap, along with options from other breweries. We got the pretzel with beer cheese and it was great. They have a full food menu as well. Very dog friendly! Will definitely stop by when we are up here again. View menu

I consider myself a bit of an expert on baked pretzels and this is by far one of the best. Crunch on the outside and soft on the inside-can’t beat it. I hope this is how it always is prepared and mine wasn’t a one off.Beer, chicken tendies, outside ambiance all fit the bill. Highly recommend

The beer selection was quite limited, and the staff seemed to pay little attention to us while we were seated at the bar. The decor? There was none—it felt sterile and unwelcoming. We ordered chips and cheese for $9 and were disappointed to receive less than two handfuls of chips, with barely enough cheese to cover half of them. It felt like a complete ripoff! We certainly won’t be returning.

stopped by here on a whim after a spontaneous trip to the mountains. cute place, plenty of parking. the train cars across from the building add even more charm. we weren't expecting much but boy were we blown away! delicious nachos, the salsa had to be homemade because it tastes so fresh. wings were perfectly cooked and flavorful. we did not order any beer but they had a pineapple jalapeno margarita that will rock your socks off. honestly, we'll probably make the four hour trip back to bryson city just for this restaurant View menu

This place was incredibly disappointing. We came here 5 years ago back when it was located in the old airplane hanger and it was outstanding!! Decided to come back and what shame this place has become. Very little beer options and it looks like they made it more of a family restaurant rather than brewery with all of the children that were running around inside and outside. Needless to say, we will not be returning.I do however recommend Mountain Layers Brewing Company (which is just around the block) if you are looking for atmosphere that does not involve children running around everywhere.

The beer here is outstanding, and I particularly enjoyed their English-style brew. My wife ordered a cider from another brewery that they had on tap, and she enjoyed it as well. The food is decent, but I don't believe it justifies the prices they charge. The $15 burger tasted like it was frozen, and the $14 BLT came with just three slices of tomato, a piece of lettuce, and four slices of bacon. Both were served with fries that also tasted like they were frozen. The highlight of our meal was definitely the totchos, which were an additional $4. I might return for the beer, but I’ll make sure to come with a full stomach next time.

"our visit to foragers canteen was not planned that we have never been there, nor were we told about it. So we were green from the beginning. the first impression was the beautiful exterior, some with rainshade and others had no sunshades. for time we visited all tables with screens were used. So we chose to eat inside. which has proved itself well since the air conditioning. we had a great table next to the window to see the local shops and buyers. our waitress was very nice, although she seemed to be hostess, at the same time she waited for tables. She was attentive and her kick waitress was also helpful. our food was served quite fast, my guess was about 15 minutes. I had the snatching laughs, my wife had the veggie taco, who was actually two medium-sized tacos and contained a big salate. I thought my meal would be good, but not with a wow it was great in taste, but it was carved. would have been better if it were all laughs that were not mined. the side of the college, which I ordered with very good and somewhat larger than industry standards. up there on the claw. the price was good or fair for today's economy. the price structure is therefore difficult to judge lately because the economy. we can come back if I were in the opposite but would not say that I would go back diffinat. while I give 4 stars at the same time. if my assessment helped them in any way, choose the same taste."
