Great food. Great staff. A must stop if you're in New Ulm. You can tell the owner takes pride in his establishment and that he appreciates his customers. Will visit anytime I'm near New Ulm. Worth a detour if needed.

Really great food at a great value. Service is always awesome too. We get the Georges special everytime because we are tight wads. Why not though, for under 20 bucks you get a steak, veg, potatoe, and soup or salad all perfectly prepared every time. A great business! Oh, the owner is there to greet you every night and it shows.

Small town appearance was cool, Sharon our server was witty and fun. Checked on us often and it was a bit busy. Steaks were cooked jist right, and a fine selection of LOCAL beers... Nice! The service here is like none other. My husband and I came here with our children for our anniversary. The service was top-notch. The food was beyond words. It was simply amazing! If you ever get a chance to come to this beautiful town, you have to check out this amazing restaurant. You definitely will not be disappointed. A reservation is generally recommended because they are busy.

Simply Amazing!! We are from just southeast of KCMO and wanted to revisit areas of MN. Everyone told us about George's, and WOW!! Top notch food, service, and atmosphere, besides sitting pretty in the heart of New Ulm, a wonderful experience for the heart and soul if you are a foodie, George will meet and greet you, his staff are the Best!!! His kitchen staff are top notch! We want to thank the city of New Ulm and George for such a great time!! We will be back!!

Great food hands down. our service was crappie this night. Watched our waitress upstairs talking to another person.most of the time. Sat for over 30 mintues before I got up walked down stairs. Then she comes with our appetizer.onion rings I think she plain forgot until she see us downstairs.and they were cold so we brought it anyways. Made a reservation for 2. We got seated ordered our drinks and appetizer. After about 20 minutes we got told we had to move as they were already taking our drinks and menus off the table. We moved….to a table they set up in the small waiting area. Not only were we in the way but it was extremely unprofessional. They scooted our previous table together with another for a larger party. We got up to leave without ordering. If there isn’t enough room for a reservation don’t take it. We will not be returning.

George's is always a fun time! I usually order the prime rib with George's fries and french onion soup. The meal also comes with a warm biscuit. My husband always gets the New York strip steak--a generous and tender cut cooked to perfection. I prefer the Canvasback Cabernet and my husband enjoys his Manhattan. There's always a great buzz in the place. This is the best place to satiate one's hunger in New Ulm. Servings are generous and the staff is skilled and friendly. Wow! so let’s begin; George’s restaurant and fine steak dining is obviously a pillar in its community here in New Ulm, MN. Now let me say this, because I usually don’t leave reviews unless it was really really bad experience at the restaurant. However if the restaurant I attended that evening was phenomenal I just have to let others know my opinion. And last night it was outstanding my Lamb O Racks was so tender, juicy and well balanced seasoned just delicious.
