"Very delicious place, owner at CreekLodge recommended. Understaffed so if your starving there may be a wait. We got the Turkey gravy mashed potatoes and collards which was all very tasty. Best flavored collards I have ever had could be cooked a little longer for my taste but just overall delicious food. Not much air flow but all good a storm passing through so a good breeze cooled things down. Bathroom was in need of a cleaning, sticky and baseboards have not been touched. If not for a dirty bathroom would be 5-star place for me."

"This restaurant is in an old building, but the inside is well worth it with hot fresh old-fashioned homemade food, nice sweet waitresses, the best tea you could ever imagine and biscuits to die for. We had to open face turkey sandwich with fried okra and mashed potatoes and the patty melt with french fries. I give this place five stars all the way !!! I would come back and I would lose every paycheck to this business, if I had to rely on somebody cooking for me. . Do not pass this for breakfast or lunch. We came on a Sunday and they close at 2 o’clock, but they have an all you can eat buffet with the special pot roast, which is a family style with all the fixings, mac cheese, mashed potatoes, biscuits, and cornbread. Let me just tell you the woman that makes the biscuits here makes 400 a day and they go fast and they are delicious!"

"I decided to visit this restaurant after reading online that it was pet-friendly, and since I had my dog with me. It had been a stressful day and I was in need of some comforting food. I arrived during a slow time when they weren't too busy, which was a relief because I didn't want my dog to bother anyone. I was expecting to be seated outside, but they offered me a table inside, saying it was too cold outside even with the dog. They were very accommodating to my furry companion. The food was delicious and I had trouble deciding what to order. The server mentioned they had a small amount of homemade chicken and rice soup left, so I ordered it and it was absolutely delicious. The server only charged me for a cup portion since it was the last of it and she didn't expect there to be so much. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. The food is fantastic, the atmosphere is cozy, and the service was outstanding. I'm grateful for finding this place."

"2 days ago we went there again after being there a year ago on our vacation. Boy, what a disaster. They were busy, we expected it on a Saturday dinner time. Was not told how long of wait. We waited AN HOUR. For a party of 6. All the while listening to a waiter go on about his homeless brother making national news about a few years ago by murdering another homeless man with a samurai sword in southern Fl. Not a very good topic to be broadcasting in a restaurant on a weekend night. Ok, we knew how good the food WAS. After finally sitting we gave our orders at the same time when she asked for our drink selection. Our salads and soups arrived about 15 minutes later, no biggie Them and the bread was fine. But then we waited a good 20 to 25 minutes for our drinks. We finally got our drinks which were wrong but at this point we were thirsty from the bread , soup, or salad. At this point the place was getting empty from everyone finishing their meals and leaving. We then finally received our meals after asking our waitress if our food was going to be coming soon. This was after ANOTHER half hour. YES, WE FINALLY HAD OUR MEALS PLACED IN FRONT OF US AFTER 2 HOURS. The pizza we ordered was a pepperoni. Had no flavor, it was like a frozen pizza with awful cheese. The chicken parm I ordered which came with spaghetti that was dried out after sitting too long and the chicken was so hard I couldn't even cut it with a knife!! We will not be returning here and not recommend it to anybody."

"The only positive aspect of this restaurant is its location. We ordered two flight samplers, but there were no labels to indicate which beer was which, and the staff had no idea either. We had to rely on guessing the flavors. Additionally, we experienced a long wait for our flights, even though the restaurant wasn’t busy. We were about to leave before our food arrived. We tried the crawfish fritters and pickle fries; the crawfish was incredibly rubbery and lacked flavor, while the pickle fries were soggy and also tasteless. There was no merchandise available for purchase. It feels like a missed opportunity for such a prime location."
