"I have always been a fan of Joey's, but I was disappointed by a decision made by the restaurant manager this morning. When nine out of ten of us arrived, they refused to seat us until the tenth person showed up. While I understand their policy during busy times, I felt that it didn't make sense in this situation. There were no other customers waiting to be seated and plenty of tables available, so it seemed unnecessary to wait for one more person. Despite this, our waitress was friendly and the food was delicious. I just wish they had used a bit more common sense in deciding whether to seat us or not."

This is a really cute, cozy place to eat breakfast. The food is good, and most of the energy on the menu is invested in the pancakes (as the name suggests). The rest of the menu is pretty basic and less inspiring, but the quality of the food is very good. The service and atmosphere are excellent.

So glad we stopped here for breakfast. The crew is a well oiled machine! This place stayed extremely busy but didn't let that effect service. The wait was short for a table, the food came quick and everything was delicious! The pancakes are so fluffy! I had the cinnamon bun pancakes and my husband had the pecan waffles.

"valley house has good reviews here on tripadvisor, but I'm not sure why. they order a entree, two sides, an salat and a dessert from the limited menu. my wife got a caesar salad, and the dressing was almost solid and had a strong damaging taste. she had grilled tilapia that needed seasonal, and the squash was her favorite side. I had chicken parmigiana, which was good, but my makkaroni and cheese and green beans were blah. the strangest thing was that my dessert should be brotpudding, but it was a piece of sweet brot. they need to check with paula deen and see how brotpudding looks."

"I decided to visit this restaurant after reading online that it was pet-friendly, and since I had my dog with me. It had been a stressful day and I was in need of some comforting food. I arrived during a slow time when they weren't too busy, which was a relief because I didn't want my dog to bother anyone. I was expecting to be seated outside, but they offered me a table inside, saying it was too cold outside even with the dog. They were very accommodating to my furry companion. The food was delicious and I had trouble deciding what to order. The server mentioned they had a small amount of homemade chicken and rice soup left, so I ordered it and it was absolutely delicious. The server only charged me for a cup portion since it was the last of it and she didn't expect there to be so much. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. The food is fantastic, the atmosphere is cozy, and the service was outstanding. I'm grateful for finding this place."

"2 days ago we went there again after being there a year ago on our vacation. Boy, what a disaster. They were busy, we expected it on a Saturday dinner time. Was not told how long of wait. We waited AN HOUR. For a party of 6. All the while listening to a waiter go on about his homeless brother making national news about a few years ago by murdering another homeless man with a samurai sword in southern Fl. Not a very good topic to be broadcasting in a restaurant on a weekend night. Ok, we knew how good the food WAS. After finally sitting we gave our orders at the same time when she asked for our drink selection. Our salads and soups arrived about 15 minutes later, no biggie Them and the bread was fine. But then we waited a good 20 to 25 minutes for our drinks. We finally got our drinks which were wrong but at this point we were thirsty from the bread , soup, or salad. At this point the place was getting empty from everyone finishing their meals and leaving. We then finally received our meals after asking our waitress if our food was going to be coming soon. This was after ANOTHER half hour. YES, WE FINALLY HAD OUR MEALS PLACED IN FRONT OF US AFTER 2 HOURS. The pizza we ordered was a pepperoni. Had no flavor, it was like a frozen pizza with awful cheese. The chicken parm I ordered which came with spaghetti that was dried out after sitting too long and the chicken was so hard I couldn't even cut it with a knife!! We will not be returning here and not recommend it to anybody."

"The only positive aspect of this restaurant is its location. We ordered two flight samplers, but there were no labels to indicate which beer was which, and the staff had no idea either. We had to rely on guessing the flavors. Additionally, we experienced a long wait for our flights, even though the restaurant wasn’t busy. We were about to leave before our food arrived. We tried the crawfish fritters and pickle fries; the crawfish was incredibly rubbery and lacked flavor, while the pickle fries were soggy and also tasteless. There was no merchandise available for purchase. It feels like a missed opportunity for such a prime location."
