"Walking distance from our stay at Jonathan creek inn. We were disappointed that they didn't offer takeout, however we hedged a bet that their food would be worth the dining in experience, and it was. My kid had the Belgian waffle with the apple topping and a side of bacon, and I had their eggs Benedict special. The only issue I had was that the English muffin was too tough to cut, so I just ate from the ham up. Their in house made hollandaise sauce was dreamy. That tomato slice was flavourful. As others have said, our waiter was attentive and professional. I didn't see the need to let him know about my English muffin, but I'm sure he would have been on top of it. Their coffee was fresh and nostalgic of any classic diner experience. Their orange juice was from concentrate, and super sweet, reminiscent of Tang. It was a fun experience my both my kid and I, and we would definitely return."

Joey's has been an annual stop for breakfast on our girlfriend's weekend for a number of years(usually in September).

Great food. So worth the little wait we had. I could come here all week and still not try everything. No photos because we devoured our meal.

Having been to Maggie V over the summer, we passed on eating here But something always made us want to try (maybe b/c it's an institution in M.V.). View menu

this place deserves the reviews! all my party enjoyed our eating and plan on returning before leaving the city. they will not find any better grips. service was great, and the safety precautions they take as a restaurant are obvious and very appreciated.

amazing breakfast with many options to suit her appetit! friendly and great staff! Waiting times are a bit long during the busy morning, but they have pager so that they can wait in their car until their table is ready. 3 times over the wash and was pleasantly satisfied each time!

One of my favorite places to eat breakfast locally. Cleanest restaurant I have been in, possibly ever. The staff is friendly and efficient. My coffee cup never goes empty. They usually have a wait but it is well worth it. Season specials are unique and made with locally sourced products. View menu

My daughters and I vacationed in Maggie Valley for 5 days and on our 3rd morning we wanted Pancakes. This being the only Pancake house we had to try. The customer service was amazing, the staff were all amazing and the food was superb! We ate here 3 days in a row. They are only open 7am-12pm but the wait on any of those days were no longer than 25 minutes. The service was fast! I love this restaurant and we will go back every time we can.

The fluffiest and softest pancakes you can find! The hash browns had melted cheese and were so delicious. When you visit, ask for their daily specials. Those daily specials turned out to be great. You can find a good amount of vegetarian options on sweet items. But vegetarian options are very limited on the savory items. This place has a very long queue and wait time. We waited for 30-40 mins. To add, they close at noon. Their food is great. But you have to be there early. They have an amazing view to sit and eat.

"2 days ago we went there again after being there a year ago on our vacation. Boy, what a disaster. They were busy, we expected it on a Saturday dinner time. Was not told how long of wait. We waited AN HOUR. For a party of 6. All the while listening to a waiter go on about his homeless brother making national news about a few years ago by murdering another homeless man with a samurai sword in southern Fl. Not a very good topic to be broadcasting in a restaurant on a weekend night. Ok, we knew how good the food WAS. After finally sitting we gave our orders at the same time when she asked for our drink selection. Our salads and soups arrived about 15 minutes later, no biggie Them and the bread was fine. But then we waited a good 20 to 25 minutes for our drinks. We finally got our drinks which were wrong but at this point we were thirsty from the bread , soup, or salad. At this point the place was getting empty from everyone finishing their meals and leaving. We then finally received our meals after asking our waitress if our food was going to be coming soon. This was after ANOTHER half hour. YES, WE FINALLY HAD OUR MEALS PLACED IN FRONT OF US AFTER 2 HOURS. The pizza we ordered was a pepperoni. Had no flavor, it was like a frozen pizza with awful cheese. The chicken parm I ordered which came with spaghetti that was dried out after sitting too long and the chicken was so hard I couldn't even cut it with a knife!! We will not be returning here and not recommend it to anybody."
