Everything a good roadside place should be. We dropped by for lunch. Great menu, warm diner-type service. Food was just right, large portions. Prices seem to be a bit high, but has become a universal matter, after all. Voir le carte

Excellent fare, especially the hot turkey meal. Excellent service, especially server Rosetta and all servers whose names escape. Excellent ownership, who really seem to care about the customers. Will absolutely miss Modern Snack Bar over the winter, but wish entire staff a good rest.

Went in the early evening.The ambiance is old school feel and that’s not why we go! They have good service no nonsense simple comfort menu.The food is simple done right comfort! It hits the spot. Full of locals and tourists looking for seasonal fun.The hot open turkey sandwich so good!The pies light crust and perfect.I go there in the fall they close for winter.Great job love this place.
