Newk's Eatery - Carte

The food at this restaurant is fresh and flavorful, but I wish the portions were bigger for the price. The pimento mac and cheese with bacon was delicious, as was the Italian dish.

Newk's is an excellent spot for a sit-down or takeout lunch. I've always enjoyed their soup and salad combinations, as well as the large black plastic cup that comes with your drink order.

I love going here! Healthy food choices! Great service. You can see the kitchen so you can see them make your food. I’m not too funny about it but some people are. I love the chicken salad sandwich and a bowl of soup!

Great staff and clean restaurant. Nice bar top to sit at and watch the cooks work. Walked in ordered to go food. The order was right and it was fresh when we got home. Sandwiches were good but my wife loved the crab lobster bisque soup. Nothing fancy but a good lunch spot for the family to go/dine in.

After having to take down my previous review, I'm glad to share my thoughts again as the employee I mentioned is no longer there. Amanda and Dylan display a lack of professionalism and have been extremely rude. Their management style is some of the worst I've encountered; they even resort to name-calling and show no willingness to support their staff. Dining last evening at Newk’s was a pleasure.Kudos to the manager, Gina, for an exceptional dine in experience. While most local restaurants have not been able to figure out how to staff properly and open their dining rooms, Newk’s is shining like a star! Gina was buzzing around like a bee, taking orders, helping in the kitchen and bussing tables, with a smile and genuine concern for customer satisfaction. Please support this restaurant and it’s workers who are finding a way to go above and beyond, while other local establishments can’t figure things out.

In a time where many blame poor service and quality on Covid, Newk's is excelling. It has become my favorite fast casual restaurant, rivaling some casual restaurants without the long wait. My companion and I enjoyed a pesto chicken sandwich, tomato basil soup, lobster bisque, and a cheesesteak. We also grabbed brownies from the counter before finding a seat. The brownies were delicious, although one was larger than the other for the same price. Craft sodas, including jalapeño cherry water, were available at the register. I had the worst experience ever when I went last night when we first went into we were rude of a “man” he said that they were close, so we were like the website said that their youngs near 9. then he was so good what you want to eat. I and my father had already told him what we wanted us to wait for my mom who told me her order on the phone. he then says no, I can't do this and rushes us out of the door. So we went and called to talk to a manager, he said he was the manager who gave me the job on the phone and he didn't care about everything I said.
