Delicious food, fresh fish, abundant portions. When you bite into the fish your not covered in water and oil unlike some places. Everything has been delicious and staff is very friendly

Like many restaurants in the area, Skip’s Fish Fry was closed during the early afternoon hours (3:45 PM on a Monday). This could be partly due to inaccuracies on Google Maps. Additionally, there was a very small sign on the door that was unreadable from the road, and all the lights were off.

This place was awesome! I grew up in Oswego was here for a visit, but didn't expect much in tge way of dining out. I was pleasantly surprised! A nicely fried seafood platter with fries slaw (fish, shrimp scallops w/malt vinegar and tartar sauce) was ordered my expectations were exceeded!! Which is no easy feat ?

Had an absolute wonderful experience. The Schellfisch was very thick with delicate flocky meat, which was slightly baked. Cooked for perfection. The boil salad was crunchy green with ripe cherry tomatoes. The scallops were large and were very tasty. The service and the staff were very friendly. Thank you and we will definitely return. I had an outstanding experience with the fish fry here. I highly recommend getting your meal to go and enjoying it by the river or lake, as the indoor seating isn't the best. The staff is consistently friendly, and the food is always delicious! I would choose this place over other local fish fry spots simply because of the great prices, along with a similar menu and quality. It's definitely one of Oswego's best-kept secrets.

One of our favorites when we visit the area. They have maintained the quality, speed and customer service. They have also adapted with technology and Toast Register for payments. Just an added bonus for the Tech Savvy users.Vegetarian options: There are items on the menu that don't include meat. Slaw, fries, salads etc. See for yourself.Kid-friendliness: The menu is very kid friendly. I visited Skip's tonight and immediately noticed how clean the restaurant was, and the staff was wonderful. I ordered the squid with Texas hot sauce, clams, and French fries, and the food was some of the best I've ever had. You could taste the care that went into the sauce and the freshly cut fries, all combined with amazing squid in every bite. Thank you, Skip's, for taking the time to create high-quality food at such a good price. As a person in a wheelchair, I often face accessibility challenges, but I found it very easy to navigate the space, and I think the restrooms are very accessible for people with disabilities.
