"Our weekend celebration turned into a nightmare I came out of my home for the first time after my pregnancy and baby to celebrate and this restaurant server made sure that I regret later. We had a lunch in this restaurant yesterday and we tipped less than expected and thats our bad that we are sorry about. But coming after us to the parking and abusing and harassing in front of our kid and friends, instead he would just ask us politely and talking to one of us outside the car in classy and polite way so that we all could have sort this out properly. We would have been more than happy the whole evening.. he ruined our evening .. filled our heart with anger and disappointment and above all he did this when we were out with our kid for the first time. Thank you for teaching me that humanity doesn’t exist for some people."

"I enjoyed the bass with chorizo for dinner, and started with crudo, both of which were excellent. For lunch, I highly recommend the hearty Niçoise Salad and you can’t go wrong with the California burger. The croissant French toast at breakfast is a delight, giving you the experience of having both breakfast and dessert at once. Don't skip the chilaquiles, either; they're fantastic. If you’re not dining, make sure to stop in for what is arguably the best margarita in Napa Valley—you won’t regret it. When the weather is nice, I suggest requesting a table on the patio; however, sitting indoors feels cozy and inviting with its hygge atmosphere. The restaurant is set inside a charming hundred-year-old farmhouse, and you can also stroll through the hotel courtyard for some great photo opportunities. The service is the real standout here. It’s rated four stars by Forbes for good reason; the staff goes above and beyond to accommodate guests. Make your way to Acacia House as soon as you can—you’ll thank me later!"

"We recently hosted a rehearsal dinner for 70 people at The Saint. It exceeded our expectations in every possible way. We wanted a very casual event with heavy appetizers and a varied selection of wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages. The entire experience from planning through the night of the event was amazing and went off smoothly. This was a destination wedding and everything was able to be planned easily by phone and email. We helped select the menu, and the food was delicious and plentiful. The setting was perfect with beautiful decor, sitting areas, and a beautiful bar. The Saint has its own wine label and several people (including me) ordered wine to be shipped to our homes. I cannot begin to describe the attentiveness of the staff. They constantly refilled glasses, whisked away empty plates, and responded immediately to every request. We also had a duo that played music that added a nice touch to the evening. Everyone who attended has raved about the event. If you are looking to host an event in the Napa area, please check out The Saint Wine Bar in St. Helena. You will be glad you did. Sally S"

"Farmstead continues to be one of our top restaurants. We like cooking on wood fire. Wood cooking adds a nice smoky taste to the items. It also makes us feel like we are outside camping. Previously, in photos, we had the beignets covered in powdered sugar and wood grilled artichokes. Both are our favorites. Today we started with the wood grilled artichokes (no surprise). One of our other favorites is the cheddar biscuits. These add a nice cheesy (no pun intended) flavor to any entree you get. Wednesday was Lamb day. We got the special lamb meatballs over vegetable rogù. This was our first lamb here and it was excellent. For dessert, an Apple galette was calling us since it was my birthday. The combination was impressive. The outside BBQ neon sign is impressive at night. Inside next to the door is a great open area with the Farmstead sign. Seating, as shown, is casual but very nice. Farmstead has a nice outside grass area that is often used for weddings and special events. We strongly recommend you give them a try."
