The North Fork Roadhouse

The food was delicious, the ambience was charming and rustic. I wasn't a fan of the downstairs bathrooms, but overall it was a fun spot with welcoming staff.

Courtney provided excellent service from start to finish, and the busser/foodrunners were attentive and friendly. The food was also delicious. Overall, it was a great dining experience! Thank you.

Pulled pork sammich was amazing. The 1/2 rack ribs was moist inside and crisp on outside. The Mac and cheese was awesome and yes, even the corn bread was great. I didn’t have but the wife did enjoy the cheesecake. Voir le carte

This place was so much fun. The folks who work there work hard to ensure their guests are happy. The night I went there was a fantastic musician who kept the patrons involved and entertained throughout the evening. We were just stopping by for a quick bite, but ended up closing the place down because we were having so much fun and were treated so well by staff.

The beer was good and the staff was friendly. My meal was enjoyable, however, my wife's burger was overcooked on the outside. It seemed like the grill flame may have been too high or not properly cleaned, causing it to pick up a burnt flavor while the inside remained perfect. This affected the taste and she did not really enjoy it. Overall, we liked the restaurant and would be willing to give them another chance in the future.

While on our way to Orient State Park, we found ourselves in Mattituck feeling hungry. So, we decided to stop by the North Fork Roadhouse bar and grill for a quick bite. We ordered the half rack of ribs and the cheeseburger, both of which came with fries. The menu had a good selection and we also ordered an ice-cold beer and a glass of lemonade. We were not disappointed - the food was delicious and the service was excellent. I highly recommend giving this place a try and we will definitely be returning in the future. Voir le carte

Food took way too long to come out. When it finally arrived about hour later all food was cold. Mussels had no flavor. Waitress only came out 3x to table. We had to ask a bus boy for drink refill. Sorry we stayed for the entree. We felt like we weren't wanted there.Requested to talk to manager to relay our experience. She was empathetic and gave us a zero check. She suggested we give them a second try on a not so busy time.I thank the manager. Hopefully my criticism will be helpful and the waitress will treat all her customers equal. No one wants to be discriminated and ignored.

The restaurant was average overall. Our large party tried several dishes for lunch, including a rack of ribs. The ribs had a dry rub and were served uncut, but unfortunately, they were lacking in flavor. The bus boy was overly attentive, constantly coming to clear plates. The pulled pork sandwich and bourbon baked beans were highlights, as well as the extensive selection of 30 beers on tap from local craft breweries. One pleasant surprise was the non-alcoholic IPA called Athletic Brewing Run Wild IPA, which was enjoyed by my husband so much that he bought a case later that weekend.

This past weekend, my friend who has Cerebral Palsy was refused entry to this restaurant because of her service dog. Despite the regulations of the ADA, the restaurant denied her and her family access, even though she relies on her service dog for walking and balance. This is unacceptable. When she spoke to the manager, she was told that they couldn't allow the dog due to health department regulations. However, the health department can prohibit regular dogs, but not service dogs. The manager also advised against leaving a negative review, showing their concern for their reputation. It is 2021, and we should strive to do better than this. Voir le carte
