"DIDN'T LIKE. It was my first time trying at wasabi, and I definitely did not enjoy my experience there. Me and my husband sat at the bar, and not only the server made us wait for 20 minutes to take order, while we were waiting and trying to talk to the chefs,he was completely ignoring us while we were trying to talk to him. we are not sure if he didn't speak English, but he was not even smiling for whole time. And that really made me uncomfortable. I would have understood if they were busy or something, but there were only two tables and they still did such bad jobs. When we got our plates, the sushi that we ordered recommanded by the server,it had too much of burnt taste (because it was...read more"

Amazing. Best sushi we have ever had. The rolls are so creative. So many times sushi rolls all taste the same, but NOT here. The presentation of the food is great but the taste is even better We go back all the time. We love the monthly specials.

My mom and I were visiting from out of town and were so happy to find such a tasty/cute little sushi joint. The staff were all friendly and helpful, the environment calm, the miso soup was the best I think I've had (so flavorful), and the sushi was PERFECT. I would recommend the Tempura Philadelphia Roll with Salmon--my new comfort food! Wish we could take this place home with us!

The BEST sushi!!. I bring everyone I know here! By far the best sushi I have had in the valley, and I have tried a lot. Favorite rolls are Mirage and TNT (lit on fire in front of you), their Alaska roll is to die for, and their specials are always amazing. Tues/Wed nights they have many delicious rolls half price which makes them really affordable! When it gets busy expect to wait, but it is worth it.

We tried Wasabi Sushi and honestly did not enjoy our experience there. The rolls we had were light on fish and heavy on mayonnaise and the teriyaki chicken for $13 amounted to a smallish boneless chicken breast with sauce drizzled on it. But, to be fair, we did not try some of the unique rolls mentioned by others here, so perhaps we haven't found Wasabi's strengths. We may go back and give it another try and avoid what we ordered last time. Voir le carte

I'm sorry I've always been here. but tonight had a waitress with attitude. the ordered roll asked for something haveero on the side as usual. the waitress said there will be an extra dollar. fine never been accused before. Woman asks for an additional ingwer. they usually don't give up. the waitress brings a quarter of what would be normal for a roll, not only two. brought her here and asked for more. she did, but would not come to table the rest of the time.

Tony, Problem because I li.... Tony, Problem because I like Wasabi Douche 19 Apr, 2012 Wasabi has become our favorite sushi restaurants in the south valley area. The fish is very fresh, the chefs are very knowledgeable and make some very tasty and colorful creations and the wait staff are very friendly. The April Roll is my favorite but you can't go wrong with any of it. Beer is served and the atmosphere is a cross between a sports bar and sushi bar, we like it a lot. Give it a try, you won't be sorry. Voir le carte

Secret little gem. We go to Wasabi every monday for lunch. We are creating a list of non menu sushi favorites like the confidential roll, the valentine roll, the french kiss...If you are a regular, you can look at the specials and keep your personal list and they will create it for you. Wasabi initially was not very busy when we started going a few months ago in 2011, now it is busy every day we go. It is a family business and is usually understaffed, but the wait is worth it, and hopefully this gets better with the word getting out about how great it is!

Love, love, love!. We eat here once a week, sometimes more. The special rolls use creative ingredients and many have a good amount of spice. This is where they really shine. There are plenty of rolls with shrimp or crab as the main ingredient if raw fish is not your thing. The non-traditional ingredients are what we enjoy most, things like cilantro, lime, jalapeño, lettuce, macadamia, potato crisps, etc. that give the rolls a unique flavor. They also have two rolls that are wrapped in foil and lit on fire which warms them and gives them a very different smoky flavor. We love them in the winter months. They sometimes have a small language barrier, but they have fulfilled any special...read mo...

"We have dined at this restaurant multiple times, and each time we believe it can't possibly get any better than the last. We are always proven wrong. This hidden gem in Draper is truly the best restaurant in Utah. I celebrated my birthday here tonight. We were seated outside, which was a first for us, and from the moment we arrived until we left, everything was absolutely perfect. The outdoor setting was stunning, with beautiful ambience and vibes. The sunset over the mountains, the lights twinkling in the trees, and the overall decor outside were lovely. The food was beyond words. The ribeye had a special rub that was incredibly delicious, paired perfectly with mashed potatoes, asparagus, and chimichurri sauce. It was an unforgettable dining experience. My partner enjoyed the filet mignon with green beans as well. The seasonal drinks were exceptional. I indulged in two watermelon mojitos, while my partner savored the Borne of Fire Cabernet and the espresso martini. The drinks were expertly crafted. The bartender deserved high praise, especially for the watermelon mojitos, which I believe were the best drink I have ever had. The appetizers (salad and corn chowder) were delightful, and the desserts (chocolate mousse with mandarin oranges and creme brulee) were full of flavor. Our waiter was extremely kind, helpful, and attentive. It was truly the most incredible meal we have ever had, and I am already looking forward to coming back. The watermelon drink paired perfectly with the ribeye, making for a quintessentially summery meal. What could be more perfect than steak and watermelon in the summer?"

"POSITIVES: Don 't let the name fool you, this place is chock full of options besides sushi. Whether it 's curry, rice, noodles, teriyaki chicken, a bento box, or a variety of ramen, this place offers lots of satisfying options. The appetizers are equallytempting : edamame, calamari, gyoza, takoyaki, etc. As far as sushi goes, this place nails it with a blend of great flavor andawesome presentation. I ordered the colorful Playboy roll (fried shrimp, salmon, tobiko--tiny fish eggs, and jalapeño andthe Phoenix roll (tempura shrimp, eel, avocado, salmon, jalapeño, green onion, sesame seeds, teriyaki sauce, and spicymayo. . This roll was unlike anything if ever been presented with at a sushi restaurant...trust me, it is very exciting andworth every penny. The Japanese decor and theme is very friendly and inviting. The waitress was extremely polite andknowledgeable. Also, the mochi ice cream is fabulous, and you can 't go wrong with it. NEGATIVES: the menu was covered ingrease from someone fingers... Not sure if the material just attracts grease really easily or something... Also, there was aBOGO 50% off for all sushi rolls... I only ordered 2 rolls myself (one was $15ish, the other would have been about $7 with theoffer , and I somehow still walked out paying $30, aside from tip. Still not terrible, but not what I had expected. PRICE:expect to pay $15-30 per person depending on how much food you get. VERDICT: it was a fun experience, and I 'm definitelycurious about some of the other sushi rolls (and curry! It 's love to come back, but given the price, I may have to wait untilmy work takes us out so it 's on their dime."
