"DIDN'T LIKE. It was my first time trying at wasabi, and I definitely did not enjoy my experience there. Me and my husband sat at the bar, and not only the server made us wait for 20 minutes to take order, while we were waiting and trying to talk to the chefs,he was completely ignoring us while we were trying to talk to him. we are not sure if he didn't speak English, but he was not even smiling for whole time. And that really made me uncomfortable. I would have understood if they were busy or something, but there were only two tables and they still did such bad jobs. When we got our plates, the sushi that we ordered recommanded by the server,it had too much of burnt taste (because it was...read more"

Amazing. Best sushi we have ever had. The rolls are so creative. So many times sushi rolls all taste the same, but NOT here. The presentation of the food is great but the taste is even better We go back all the time. We love the monthly specials.

my mother and I visited from the city and were so happy to find such a tasty little sushi joint. the staff were all friendly and helpful, the environment quiet, the miso suppe was the best I think I had (so aromatic,) and the sushi was perfect. I would recommend the tempura philadelphia roll with salmon - my new comfort food! I wish we could take this place home with us!

My mom and I were visiting from out of town and were so happy to find such a tasty/cute little sushi joint. The staff were all friendly and helpful, the environment calm, the miso soup was the best I think I've had (so flavorful), and the sushi was PERFECT. I would recommend the Tempura Philadelphia Roll with Salmon--my new comfort food! Wish we could take this place home with us!

The BEST sushi!!. I bring everyone I know here! By far the best sushi I have had in the valley, and I have tried a lot. Favorite rolls are Mirage and TNT (lit on fire in front of you), their Alaska roll is to die for, and their specials are always amazing. Tues/Wed nights they have many delicious rolls half price which makes them really affordable! When it gets busy expect to wait, but it is worth it.

We tried Wasabi Sushi and honestly did not enjoy our experience there. The rolls we had were light on fish and heavy on mayonnaise and the teriyaki chicken for $13 amounted to a smallish boneless chicken breast with sauce drizzled on it. But, to be fair, we did not try some of the unique rolls mentioned by others here, so perhaps we haven't found Wasabi's strengths. We may go back and give it another try and avoid what we ordered last time.

I'm sorry I've always been here. but tonight had a waitress with attitude. the ordered roll asked for something haveero on the side as usual. the waitress said there will be an extra dollar. fine never been accused before. Woman asks for an additional ingwer. they usually don't give up. the waitress brings a quarter of what would be normal for a roll, not only two. brought her here and asked for more. she did, but would not come to table the rest of the time. Tony, Problem because I li.... Tony, Problem because I like Wasabi Douche 19 Apr, 2012 Wasabi has become our favorite sushi restaurants in the south valley area. The fish is very fresh, the chefs are very knowledgeable and make some very tasty and colorful creations and the wait staff are very friendly. The April Roll is my favorite but you can't go wrong with any of it. Beer is served and the atmosphere is a cross between a sports bar and sushi bar, we like it a lot. Give it a try, you won't be sorry.

Love, love, love!. We eat here once a week, sometimes more. The special rolls use creative ingredients and many have a good amount of spice. This is where they really shine. There are plenty of rolls with shrimp or crab as the main ingredient if raw fish is not your thing. The non-traditional ingredients are what we enjoy most, things like cilantro, lime, jalapeño, lettuce, macadamia, potato crisps, etc. that give the rolls a unique flavor. They also have two rolls that are wrapped in foil and lit on fire which warms them and gives them a very different smoky flavor. We love them in the winter months. They sometimes have a small language barrier, but they have fulfilled any special...read mo...

"positive: do not let the name fool them, this place is a baptismal option next to sushi. whether curry, rice, noodles, teriyaki chicken, bento box or a many number of rarmen, this place offers many satisfying options. the appetizers are also tempting: edamame, calamari, gyoza, takoyaki, etc. as far as sushi goes, this place nails it with a mixture of great taste and fantastic presentation. I ordered the colorful playboy roll (fritten garnelen, lachs, Tobiko-Tiny fish eggs, and jalapeño and the Phoenix roll (tempura garnelen, eel, avocado, lachs, jalapeño, green wobbles, sesame, teriyaki sauce and spicy mayo. trust me, it's very exciting and worth every penny. the Japanese decor and thema is very friendly and welcoming. the waitress was extremely polite and knowledgeable. also the mochi ice is fabulous, and they can't go wrong with it. negative: the menu was covered by a finger with fat. Not sure whether the material simply attracts fat or so. also there was a bogo 50% discount for all sushi rolls. I ordered only 2 rolls themselves (one was $15ish, the other would have been about $7 with the offer, and I somehow still went out to pay $30, apart from top. Not terrible yet, but not what I expected. price: they expect to pay $15-30 per person, depending on how much they get. verdict: it was a fun experience, and I am definitely curious about some of the other sushi roles (and curry! it is the love to come back, but given the price, I may have to wait until my work pulls us out so that it is on her dig."
