"Absolutely delightful dining! We were able to advance our reservation from 6pm to 4:30pm without fanfare which was very much appreciated. The decor is very simple, almost austere but elegant in it?s own way and serves as a backdrop to feature the foodand drink which are the real reasons folks come to partake. Jeremy was an very nice young man who took very good care of usthroughout the evening with his calm demeanor and willingness to help us with choices. The menu is small yet adequate and thewine list is one of the best we have experienced in awhile. Very eclectic and interesting again limited with choices fromAustria to Italy, California, etc., but even Lebanon which has very good red wines by the way. We opted for the featured AustrianRiesling which paired perfectly with our greens and peaches salad and wild sea bass dinners. And the wine prices are veryreasonable for the quality level. The food was delicious! The emphasis is on quality ingredients, prepared well and designed toplease the palate. Portions are perfect but if it?s a lot of food you are seeking, this ain?t the place. It?s fresh, delicious, thoughtful food made to savor and enjoy. Complementary flavors reside in each dish. Conversation food in a relaxed atmospherethat encourages people to linger and enjoy the experience. The final course of fresh decaf coffee with blueberry corn cake wasthe perfect finale. Absolutely delightful dining!"

"I have always considered this to be the best barbecue joint in the upstate. While I usually frequent the Easley location, today we decided to check out the Smokin' Pig in Pendleton. There is ample parking available around the location, with helpful signs to guide you. We were pleasantly surprised to find a food truck right next to the restaurant, offering even more dining options. The menu is straightforward and easy to navigate, with an array of tempting choices. The portions were generous and I couldn't resist ordering an extra dish. From classic sides like sweet potato casserole and baked beans to unique options like Jalapeño cheese grits, everything was delicious. The sweet tea was just right, and I ended up getting a second glass. The grilled meats were perfectly cooked and we enjoyed the chopped chicken, chopped pork, and brisket. The variety of sauces available at the tables allowed us to customize our dishes to our liking. The restaurant exudes charm and character, with southern-inspired decor and walls covered in customer messages, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Antique items added to the cozy ambiance, while old school country music played in the background. The recent renovations, including a beautiful lawn area with a stone fire pit, added to the overall appeal of the place. Seating was plentiful, both indoors and outdoors, and the staff was friendly and attentive. It's rare to find such genuine hospitality these days. I am already looking forward to returning in the summer - it seems like they have really nailed the whole experience."

"So the owner stalked me down on facebook and messaged me so ppl here would not see how nasty he is I copied below what he wrote. Owner, This was not my 1st review. I have 158 honest review most 5 stars to small and large businesses. You may not agree with my review but I am being honest with myself and to you. I am not a nasty malicious person just honest. I pray for you your success. What he wrote to me on Messager..... You clearly wrote a Google review to personally attack my restaurant. I’m coming here to tell you how ashamed you should be to go as far as you did. Owning a business much less a restaurant in this economy is beyond difficult. You went out of your way to write your first Google review ever for a small family business trying to survive. How shameful. I hope you rest well tonight getting that off your chest. Thankfully, we have hundreds of satisfied customers who help us be better with good feedback. I stand by my response. My husband and I have been wanting to try this place, every time we go by the place would be packed with cars. After eating there today I just cannot understand why. While we were waiting I said to my husband either the food is very good are this place is very affordable to eat. Neither was the case. The meal cost us like $42. (With out a tip) I have described the meal for you below. This has to be the absolute worst place I have eaten. I had the country fried steak which was in a white gravy. That was the only thing that was edible. Not saying that it was good just edible. The mashed potatoes had a sour taste to them. The macaronis in the mac and cheese we're so overcooked they were mushy. It looked like they only put cheese on top of the macaronis and bake it, unless the cheese just broke up when they cooked it. Either way I took a bite, it was tasteless and gross. I did not go for a seconds bite. Also had the peach cobbler, the woman' scraped out the bottle of the pan and put it in a styrofoam container with a lid on it. There were no peaches in it, it was just mushy wet dough. Like if somebody had given you undercooked pie crust. "
