I called at 8:59 to place my order, I went at 9:57 to pick up when I arrived they said they will do it for me, I do not recommend buying people from this restaurant because they have no principles.

I enjoyed my experience at this restaurant, particularly their soup joumou. However, when I tried to order the Stewed Turkey (Dinde Sauce) along with the Fried Turkey (Dinde Frit), I was mistakenly given two plates of fried turkey. Man, the food was dirty, burn rice flavor, the pork was greedy, the lady in the back drank the oil not from the pork. I found a raw skin in my rice, I thought it was the red beans, but it was a cheek. Don't go to Chez Elda Restaurant on Gateway. Nasty cold food. We have been ordering from Chez Elda almost every week because the food is so delicious. My favorite dishes are the stewed chicken and legumes de militon, while my husband loves the Griot. Tonight, he tried the oxtail for the first time and loved it. Everything we have ordered has been hot, fresh, and delicious. We are slowly working our way through their menu and can't wait to have many more meals from this Haitian takeout restaurant.
