Deven is an amazing bartender! They are also the only place in the country that serves White Lemon Chicken- it has a mellow flavor but is absolutely delicious.

"There are more good reasons than ever to visit Hazel Dell these days, and Patras is one of them. Patras is a no-frills, simple take-out/sit-down joint with counter service. But you're not here for the ambiance. You're here for the tastiest gyros, falafel, hummus, garlic sauce, baklava, and more on the North Bank and the best falafel I've had in decades. The food is fresh and thoughtfully prepared. They're busy every time we've been in, but our food is ready in a very reasonable amount of time. The menu is easy on your wallet and the portions are large. I'm already looking forward to my next visit! Kali orexi!"

"We had a fantastic experience at Joe Brown's Cafe! The customer service was exceptional; everyone was friendly, and it was wonderful to see so many smiles. The ambiance and menu brought back memories of Tasty Crust back home in Maui. But above all, the food was incredible. The Land Breakfast hit the spot, and the NY Steak Breakfast special was perfect. The kids absolutely loved their cheeseburgers and fries—they assured me they finished every last bite! This was our first visit to Joe Brown's Cafe, and I highly recommend it to everyone. You won’t be disappointed!"

"I am so very pleased that I came here for lunch while I was in the area! The staff were very kind, welcoming, and accommodating. The food was as expected. I was very happy there was a small size available, as I never seem to be able to finish anything more. And there was a generally serene feeling to the place (despite the loud refrigerator running). "I really wanted to give wildfin an excellent review all over the board, but unfortunately could not. we were at some locations at wildfin, as we are seafood lovers, and on 10th september my wife went to wildfin to celebrate our 25-year anniversary. when I made the reservations, I said it was our jubilee. to our surprise, the hostess said nothing when she greeted us, and we sat in the middle of the restaurant when there were several tables on the window overlooking the river. we had to ask our server if it was possible to get a table at the window and she moved us (as it was also her station/area). the server was friendly and our eating was excellent. when my wife I shared a bottle prosecco, had a starter, two meal times, as well as a dessert share. because, as I said, it was our 25-year-old. during our visit we noticed tables near us that celebrated birthday, and we saw that these parties get a free dessert for their occasion. While we did not expect, we both commented that we also need to get a free dessert because it is our 25-year-old. We didn't. only a handwritten note to our reception with happy anniversary, as our server was aware that it was our 25-year-old. may I make a suggestion? in the future it would be a very small/childish gesture for couples with jubilees who are warmly greeted with happy anniversary at the door, as well as a free dessert for the occasion. Many thanks for their thoughts and listening."

Is it just me, or do I always break a sweat when indulging in curry? I'm grateful for the refreshing lime tea that perfectly balances the heat. The service was excellent, and I appreciated the serene atmosphere, which allowed me to enjoy my lunch while diving into a good book—not a classic, just a good story with an engaging narrative. In Vancouver, while there may be a shortage of some things, good Thai food is definitely not one of them. This place promises delicious meals and captivating tales!"
