This is a place to bring someone special when you want to treat them. It's an expensive indulgence in an amazing atmosphere. We very much enjoyed our experience here. Our toddler daughter loves tea parties and we pretend it was a royal tea event . It really was a highlight in our family Boston vacation. The tea and refreshments were delicious and we could enjoy some nice grownup quiet experience with her enjoying the kids menu.

The selection of teas is impressive; I opted for the white Pentecost tea, which paired wonderfully with the food. My top picks from the menu were the white cake and all of the sandwiches, particularly the chicken sandwich, which was exceptional. The lobster dish was also delightful. Overall, a charming experience!

This was an exceptional experience, and I hope to have it every time I visit Boston. As a book lover, I found the menu presented in book format to be a delightful touch. What a treat! We enjoyed their “holiday tea” and were blown away from the experience. All her foods were excellent and I guess we could order as many tea pots as we wanted. I would definitely keep another tea experience here if I came to Boston for the next time. It is also beautiful that they are located in the Boston Public Library so you can go to tea around the library.

Beautiful surroundings for an afternoon tea in the Boston Public Library. For a certain price you get champagne or a non-alcoholic foam drink, an assortment of tea sandwiches, scenes and desserts. Everything was tasty, especially the Scones for which they should die! There is also a wide selection of tea. It is a perfect place to catch up with friends or just soak into the history of Boston.

So glad my friend found out about this place and made a reservation! I have lived in Boston for over a decade, but never heard of this place before she mentions there is a tea room in the Boston Public Library. I believe reservation is always full, so make sure that if you find a slot or put notified option on Resy App (they use this platform for reservation.)
