"I love catfish! Ive gone other places and I still manage to regret trying anywhere else! They are getting more staff in there, and seem to be training everyone quickly and properly. Everyone is so nice!! Without making anyone feel less than another I think Gary is one of the BEST baristas! However, Ive noticed one of the long time girls 's attitude/demeanor has gone down hill. She had always been super sweet and polite, but that seems to to be diminishing. I 'm now seeing no sense of humor, a stern type of demeanor, and ive gotten a chuckle from time to time but it was more like a ha you 're pathetic type of chuckle, when I tried to brighten the mood.. Maybe she 's bottling something up, which can be a ticking time bomb. I can understand working with the general public, day in and day out, can be very tiring, and I 'll admit, some people are complete JERKS! Luckily, that is not everyone, so that should out weigh the bad!! I know I am not a jerk, and I 've been made to feel like one time to time by her. Hopefully, its just a glitch, and I 'm the only one that has noticed!! Other than that, Catfish is hands down above all the coffee shops in Lake county, in my opinion! :"

The food received a rating of 2, as it was mediocre at best—definitely not worth the price I paid. The service was disappointing, earning a rating of just 1; my order took much longer than expected, and the staff seemed disinterested. On a positive note, the atmosphere of the restaurant itself was fairly decent, which is why I gave it a 3. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning anytime soon based on this experience."

"We ordered the mixed appetizer platter, prawn rolls, tempura shrimp sushi rolls, and a fantastic daily special vegetarian pumpkin red curry. Everything was impeccable. The mixed appetizer included potstickers, spring rolls, and prawn rolls. We had ordered an extra serving of prawn rolls, and I'm so glad we did because they were simply irresistible. The mixed appetizer also came with both a sweet and sour dipping sauce reminiscent of Mai Ploy and a wonderful spicy peanut sauce. The sushi was made to order exactly to our specifications, which we really appreciated. As for the pumpkin curry, it was outstanding—just the right amount of spice that complemented the flavors perfectly. The pumpkin used was kabocha squash, my absolute favorite, cooked to perfection—not overdone at all—and richly flavorful. It was beautifully presented with artistically cut zucchini, long bean, carrot, cabbage, and Thai basil. The service was friendly and efficient. It was lovely to see the owner’s family spending time at another table, which added to the homey atmosphere. Throughout our meal, we enjoyed lounging in this gorgeous restaurant, surrounded by tall banana trees, vibrant decor, and large windows overlooking the lake. I can’t wait to return!"

"This is an edited review. I really hate giving less than 4 stars to any locally owned establishment. It must be a hard time to keep a business going these days but that doesn't mean you don't have to try to make good food or a good product. I am pregnant and I came in looking for something fresh and tasty. Figured even tho the Spot used to be known for their burgers that there's got to be a salad or a sandwich that could hit the spot. Well, the salads are pricey for what the choices and menu says, so I went with grilled chicken Pesto sandwich with side salad. Side salad had brown and wilted Lettuce, the chicken was overcooked, greasy and tough, way too much cheese and Pesto making the whole sandwich soggy and the bun held so much grease and oil that it was as flat as paper on the bottom. The once crisp Lettuce and tomato was completely wet and not edible. One of the worst sandwiches I have ever had. Service was extremely slow, they had one waitress/bartender/hostess/food runner working at Lunchtime on a Wednesday. Ice tea was old and couldn't drink it, and the water I got was in a tiny Dixie cup, I'm prego, a full glass of water wouldve been nice. My friends lemon drop was just bitter lemon, a ton of seeds and vodka, no simple syrup, no sugar rim, just ice water and vodka basically. His fries were ice cold. His tri tip sandwich was good however. This place used to be great 3 years ago but has let me down twice lately and is honestly a huge waste of time and money. Too bad options are slim and it's such a great location. I hope they set some standards for the food they send out soon. If the food was fresh and not overcooked, not greasy, and...edible... it would've been worth the long wait and the inexperinced bartending and poor service. review 3 years ago....
