"Nice location along the river. Parking in the lot fills quickly but there is also parking on the street. Very modern and sleek appearance. Inside, the decor is a bit industrial with open ceilings showing insulation and other infrastructure. The staff was attentive without being intrusive and the service was nicely paced. Our server asked if we had any after dinner plans (e.g., show tickets) that would require a faster-paced meal. Interestingly, when making our on-line reservation, the system said they had a dining time-limit: weekdays 2 hours; weekends 1.5 hours. Half the menu is devoted to adult beverages. The food menu has a few items in each category – good for diners (less confusion, temptation and distraction) and for the kitchen. I saw fish, fowl, meat, and vegetarian options – not sure about vegan, though. The execution was a bit mixed, though. All the food looked lovely although only one was colorful (the scallops) and I didn’t notice many aromas (could be a function of my allergies though). The appetizers were tasty as was their wild mushroom soup. The beetroot risotto had very good flavors, but the risotto was not at all creamy and the vegetables were undercooked. The mushroom pave was mostly brown and reminded us of turkey stuffing, although the flavors were much better. The corvina special was well-cooked. The best dish of the night was the diver scallops – large, nicely seared, tender and sweet. The vegetables were colorful and very nicely cooked. We selected three desserts to share. The best was the “Any Colour You Like” popsicle – a nice blast of fruit flavor; sadly not prepared by the staff but rather a locally produced product. The Mocha cake had only a faint coffee flavor and the cake part seemed soggy. The worst dish of the night was the monkey bread – a large dish suitable for sharing, but the bread was dry and hard (needed to soak in something lovely) and the cherry brandy “pie filling” tasted like something out of a can. Not a good way to end an otherwise good meal."

Our experience was very poor. Loud, very limited menu, bartender taking so many shots with the bar, waited 35 minutes for a cold partial waffle and chicken. 1/5 will not be back, the rest of my party was disappointed.

Our server was lovely and attentive. The outdoor seating area was very pretty. Based on the menu descriptions and prices I expected the food to have more flavor. The seasoning was lacking and the many dishes we ordered were not memorable.Food: 3/5

if you guys want to provide the best experience for your restaurant, maybe provide better customer service. tell one of your servers with the pixie haircut to fix her attitude if she wants to work in customer service. i’m a server myself and would never treat people so badly like that way she talked to my friends. do better.Food: 4/5 Visualizza piatti

Came here for a late dinner to celebrate my wife's birthday and they literally ran out of everything. We had very few options. Our waitress informed us that they usually run out of food later in the day. Since we had a reservation it would have been nice to have been informed that there was a possibility of food running out. Not impressed.

Food was pretty good all around. The soup we ordered was a disappointment, however the rest of the food was lovely. The service was pretty good all around, but nothing special. The noise of the restaurant and jammed together seats make this place very hard to hear or have a decent conversation in which was disappointing. This restaurant is really leaning on its beautiful location in the city.

I visited this restaurant for dinner a few weeks ago and enjoyed sitting by the water, which had a great location. We ordered meatballs as our appetizer, but they were not our favorite as they had a uniquely sweet flavor. However, our entrees, the swordfish and steak, were both delicious. The vegetables with the steak were slightly undercooked. We also had great drinks and a fabulous waitress. Visualizza piatti

We had a great time at this restaurant for a girls' night out. The food and drinks were fantastic, especially the dessert. The cocktails were also excellent, and we enjoyed a delicious coffee to finish off the night. Surprisingly, even the bathroom smelled nice! The only downside was parking, as we couldn't find a spot within half a mile. However, we had fun riding scooters we found nearby. We went on a Wednesday night at 6pm, on a warm spring day.

Wife and I came here with a friend for drinks and dinner right around opening time. There were only 3 other tables sat in the entire place. We asked to sit outside even though it was a pretty hot day because we could see there was some shade. Our hostess sat us at one of the tables in the full sun. When I asked if we could be moved to one of the many tables with shade, she informed us that wasn't possible because they were very specific about the tables??? So, we baked in the sun!!! And during the 1.50 hours we were there only one other table came, which she sat in the direct sun and all the shady tables remained open. Nice! That other couple ended up eating scrunched together on one corner...

"Littlebird was our date-night restaurant on a getaway weekend trip to Grand Rapids and it was a fabulous experience! They sat us at the adorable table right next to the window for some excellent people-watching, served us promptly and kindly throughout the entire meal, and found unique ways to make the meal special and memorable. We ordered several drinks while we were there, most notably a classic daiquiri with Clarin that was a delicious and challenging cocktail. All the cocktails were carefully selected, well crafted, and highlighted the best of a spirit or seasonal ingredient. The food was also spectacular, of course. We ordered a Peach Summer Salad that was dressed in hot honey that was decadent to eat along with the Blooming Mushroom, Smash burger, and a Salmon dish. Each dish was well portioned, carefully seasoned, and thoughtful. We were also happy to receive feedback on our menu choices when ordering to ensure everything worked well together. Of note, it was clear that the meal was going a little longer than usual. However, the bar staff really showed up and struck up conversation with us about rum and rum cocktails that was a lot of fun. They made us feel welcome and we felt that they were happy that we were enjoying our meal at their place. Altogether, this was a really fun and tasty meal that was also really well priced for the experience and quality that they deliver. We will certainly be back as there are many more dishes (and daiquiris) that I want to try!"
