"I stumbled upon this gem in West LA and was pleasantly surprised. The menu features classic Peruvian dishes that you would typically find in the U.S. I tried the Lomo Saltado, which was one of the best I've had, while the Ceviche was unfortunately forgotten, so I didn’t get to taste it. Dishes are priced around $20 on average. The grilled Spanish octopus was beautifully presented, but I wouldn’t order it again. The Swai tiradito pieces were notably small, though again, the presentation was lovely. Personally, I'm not a fan of Swai and believe they should consider switching back to Kampachi. The lobster causa, however, was excellent. As for the service, the restaurant gets very crowded at dinner time, and I felt my table didn't receive the attention it deserved. Some of our orders were overlooked, and I found myself repeatedly having to catch the waitress's attention whenever I needed something. I don’t fault her, as she was clearly working hard, darting between tables and rushing in and out of the kitchen. My suggestion for management is to bring in additional staff to assist her. My group would have happily ordered more dishes, but we waited about 20 minutes for a check-in, and some of my party ended up leaving still hungry due to the time constraints."

Best Peruvian lomo saltado I've had in Los Angeles's. Hands down. The ceviche was also delicious. Small hole in the wall but the food is amazing. Better than Mario's.

I am obsessed with this place, it has the best ceviche in all of LA. They use extremely fresh ingredients and are not skimpy with the amount they serve. We always grab one for each of us as an appetizer as they are too good to share! Haha

Pretty great Peruvian food here at Lonzo's, especially the plating on the ceviche! The Poor Man's steak was wonderful and tender. The ceviche was also pretty good. The flavor for the Osso Buco Seco was ok and could be more tender if they cooked itlonger. Visualizza piatti

Real food, delicious, generous portion. Ambiance was warm and inviting felt like I was invited to someone's house for home cooked ethnic food. If you want fancy, stuffy pretentious don't come here. If you want to relax and feel welcome you won't regret it

Prices went up dramatically and service came down extremely.. I use to love this place but after my recent visit it 's off my list My plate came out first waited 10 min for my friends plate so by time second plate came out my food was cold. Each time we asked about second plate we got same answer it 's coming Sorry but if you are going to raise your prices for mediocre food and service RAISE THE BAR in service also

My husband and I enjoyed our meal at Lonzo's Restaurant! We shared two excellent dishes and each dish was freshly prepared: seafood rice with squid, clams, scallops, mussels, shrimp in aji Amarillo reduction, white wine, carrots, peas, Parmesan cheese, and spot prawn. And the other dish was roasted branzino with roasted vegetables, chimichurri, aji Amarillo butter, yucca, chalaca. The staff was very efficient and fast. The restaurant is a family-run establishment. Just be prepared to pay in cash if you're not a fan of paying a surcharge for credit cards. Visualizza piatti

Very high quality and unique type of spot. It's a small, intimate space and the place gets busy (naturally because it's very good! . My lady and I got there at 6pm which is quite early for us and we got the last seats available. We ordered 5 different small plates, tapas style and drank the pisco sours. The servers were very nice and provided a lot of guidance. We were feeling a bit adventures and tried the beef heart (which honestly tasted like steak , the octopus and many others. We did also want to try the lobster tacos, but unfortunately they were out for the day. We plan to go back and try out the other items on the menu. Thanks Lonzo's!

Where should we go eat? Lonzo's! This place has been my go to Peruvian spot for years. It has that mom and pop charm and while you won't read about it on all the blogs, it's well worth the visit. Just be sure to make a reservation ahead of time, seating is limited. Your meal starts with the classic bread and aji which is spicy but addicting. You'll want to put it on everything. The must order at Lonzo's are the Lomo Saltado and the Peruvian Pesto Pasta. We did the filet mignon for both and shared. There's plenty of flavor in the Lomo and just throw on some aji sauce and enjoy. The Peruvian Pesto Pasta had tender meat and saucy pasta. It has a deep pesto flavor that's not like your typical It...
