"I have been here before and have been disappointed with a couple of dishes. However, I love the staff, and I just went in for French Onion Soup and a Margarita. It was good. It's very cheesy, but you have to cut up the bread to make sure to get a little in every bite. This place is great for a special occasion. "When we arrived for our reservation, I asked for a four top table instead of a booth. They only had booths. The booth had no tablecloth. After our party of four was seated, the hostess did not bring enough flatware for the foursome. We had to wait for our meals. The server was okay. The bar order was sloooooooowwwwww. It took 10 miunutes to get an Iced Tea and the cocktails were more like 15 minutes. This would have been understandable if the place had been busy, but they only had half of the dining room seated. The second of drinks arrived near the end of the dinner, with the exception of my wife 's wine which came after the meal was cleared. All of the appetizers are fried in the same oil that is used to fry the shellfish in and having a shellfish allergy that ruled out any aps for me. The Caeser Salad dressing was crummy. I ordered the 8oz beef filet medium rare. It came out medium well. The side was a baked potato which was the best part of the meal with the exception that the butter and sour cream was the size of quarter each. The dinner was so disappointing that we didn 't even think about ordering desert. When the reservation was made it was noted that we were celebrating a birthday. Nothing was done to acknowledge that my the restaurant staff. This was my second and last time ever dining at A.J. 's steakhouse."

"First-take the happy hour appetizer special off of your website since you no longer offer it. Second-pretty sad the amount of money that is made here and you can’t still offer the special. Beer specials but not on craft beer. Looking around at the restaurant you can tell people aren’t happy with decisions as the place is almost dead. We love the bartenders and servers but probably won’t be back much anymore. Why drive 30 miles to eat here when you can get Sunday specials at other bbq places. Sad that money is more important than customer satisfaction."

"We had dinner here last night everything was fabulous! Lindy was our waitress. She was exceptional knows the menu inside out, made perfect recommendations for food ‘Mootinis’ was friendly, funny took great care with making sure our evening was delicious and seamless. There are no words to accurately describe the dinner amazing, melt in your mouth with portions so flexible one doesn’t need to over eat! Kudos to the chef!! Don’t forget the cheesy corn crazy good!!! Definitely 5 stars but would like to see a little better selection of wine but this did in no way detract from our dinner. Thanks to Lindy, the Chef The Big Steer!!"

"I'm not sure if the $5.48 was just for the large drink or if that's the price added for choosing a combo, which is confusing. Now I'm curious what it would cost me to get just the sandwich and fries separately from the drink. The tax isn’t even a full dollar, so that can’t explain the extra charge. At most restaurants, ordering a combo is usually cheaper than getting everything separately. But here, it seems the opposite is true. They tack on an extra $5.50 just for adding a drink to make it a combo, which increases the total price compared to just ordering the sandwich and fries without a drink. Personally, I don’t think a large drink is worth $5.50."
