"I almost ordered a sammich today, but considering they were preparing my Acai Bowl in the largest size available I was afraid I wouldn't be able to stomach both.Their Sammie board does look good.I've been on a quest to find the best Acai Bowl in San Diego and have tried no less than 15 different renditions at various places. So far the best comes from Roots Bowls.The bowls are thoughtfully curated and contain all the greatest hits: fresh fruits, crunchy granola, super foods, creamy almond butter and honey.I discovered this place only hyper recently and I'm already a huge fan.The storefront is bright with natural light, styled very cute complete with a mural painted By Tijuana street artist Panca and ample seating.Definitely coming back soon and would absolutely recommend"

There are only two healthy venues in Hillcrest. This one offers really good vegetarian drinks and sandwiches. And it's always quick service.

on the menu it says that they make their detox greens smoothing with a organic milk. they saw them several times, and it is not. also add agavsirup to smoothie. there is nothing about it on the menu, and I was not even asked if I wanted it in my smoothie. too sweet and not so healthy.

So this may be a tad graphic.But holy mother!So I have an interesting reaction to food when it’s like REALLY good.We’ll call it “pants feelings”And this bowl took me where I didn’t even know I needed to go.The consistency is brilliantThe toppings are numerous and can fit any palate.And the place has parking in the back to make it easier to access!Literally sitting in my car breathing heavy.No. I am not high.
