"My receipt doesn’t indicate that I ordered a Caesar salad, but that’s what I explicitly requested, and what I received was not a proper Caesar salad. When I placed my order, I specifically asked for only the dark leaves of the Romaine lettuce in my salad. Instead, I was given a completely different salad that had sour, wilted leaves and toppings I didn’t want. I requested to speak with a manager, but the woman named Nicole claimed to be the manager, though she seemed more like a supervisor. All she needed to do was remove a bit of the hearty dark Romaine, rather than trying to sell me an entirely new $5 salad! She raised her voice, rolled her eyes, and asked me to pay again! Her lack of basic courtesy was disappointing, and she even made a scene, crying and drawing attention to the situation in front of a busy restaurant, simply because I refused to take the salad. I regretted bringing my guest there to witness such poor treatment from someone in a position of authority. Additionally, I chose not to order a sandwich because their bread is often dry, and the meat is so thin that it doesn’t match the photographs of the sandwiches. It’s evident that the new owner has cut back on the quality of the deli offerings, which have become quite unappetizing."

"The decor is charming, and the breakfast options are fantastic. While there’s not much in the way of healthy choices, everything looks absolutely delicious! I had a hard time deciding between the chicken and biscuits or the chicken-fried steak served with cookies. The staff recommended the chicken-fried steak with cookies as my main dish and a side of gravy, and I went for it—great choice! My dining partner ordered some beautiful pancakes topped with fresh fruit, which were truly the best I’ve ever seen. It ended up being a great last-minute decision."

"If you're looking for low quality food and bad costumer service, this is the best restaurant for you. The californian sandwish is so dry. As for the chicken alfredo, spaghetti was sauteed with butter and cream, no salt, pepper or any other seasoning. The chicken was dry and chewy. We were a party of 11 and they made us wait in the cold for 30 min because there is no waiting area. We ended up sitting on diffrent tables back to back even though empty tables were available. When asked to sit next to each other, the host claimed that it was difficult to change now because separate servers took our order. The tables were empty and available the whole time we were sitting. We sat separately AND were charged fees of one big party."

"Average BBQ for touristy prices. Protein is certainly on every hungry hiker's mind after a day in Yosemite, and we made a point to come here for dinner based on previous reviews. Look for the two story sky blue lodge style building. Fair number of parking spaces, shared with some other businesses in the plaza. The place is smaller than the building suggests, with the counter and dining space taking up maybe half of the building's first floor. The door puts you directly in front of the order counter and kitchen, and staff were peppy and friendly. Order meat from the first employee, sides from the second, and get your drinks from the register person who will ring you up. The whole process is pretty efficient, and though we were initially told the brisket was out, someone brought out a giant slab of brisket right before we were about to order. Ambiance is sort of a once charming saloon sticky linoleum tables and chairs, with old country hits playing. I did like that each table was equipped with a roll of paper towels and original as well as spicy house BBQ sauce. Would probably try to eat on the porch next time in ambient weather. We got a half pound each of brisket and smoked sausage, and a half rack of ribs. Complemented by broccoli salad and mac n' cheese. Everything was pretty meh. Brisket, despite being as fresh as we could have gotten it, was dry and the flavor had been cooked out of it. Even though it had a nice smoke ring, there was no juice to each bite and I had to swab it in BBQ sauce to help it go down. Similarly, the ribs had a nice glaze but didn't have fall off the bone quality. Sausage was, well, sausage. Sides were okay (good portion size), with the broccoli salad being a nice variety of apples, slaw, and raisins, but the mac n' cheese was saved only by the bacon bits on top (optional). Not sure if we came on an off day but would be shocking to go 0 for 3 in meats at a dedicated BBQ restaurant."

"Very disappointed with where we were sat by the hosts on New Year’s Eve. I made the reservation in October and asked for a romantic table. We got sat in the alternate room and were one of two couples in there. The fireplace area was clearly the romantic seating space, but we were told we couldn’t sit there. I guarantee you that nobody made a reservation as far in advance as I did. Sad. Thank you to the chef and our waiters nonetheless."
