"It's not a fancy place but the food was delicious! Had their version of a cheese steak on the freshest bread I've ever tasted! The portion was generous, and the price was very fair. There's a nice menu of breakfast and lunch meals. There is a nice deli, baked good section(got the raisin bread, it was sooo good) and bulk goods store too. It was my first visit. I will be going back! Kid-friendliness: Kids are definitely welcome."

We look forward to going to the Walnut Cheese Nook whenever we get to PA. The food is amazing, chicken salad is my favorite! I always have to buy whoopee pies and iced cinnamon rolls. So good!!

Great food, service, and prices! I got a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich on an English muffin. The bacon came out nice and crispy and I didn't even have to ask for it like that. Well done! Nice little place in the country.
