"We literally fell over this tiny restaurant set in a secluded square along one of the main thoroughfares in the old city. On a sunny day it is a great place to sit under the trees and just relax. Plenty of choice on the menu with advice from friendly staff if required. Service was prompt and the food was hot and attractively presented. Although there are some French dishes on the menu, I would choose Indian every time and here I frequently choose the chicken tikka masala ! Oh yes ...."

"An excellent discovery in Périgueux. I'm usually very difficult in choosing a restaurant, I do not hide my pleasure this time. An original menu, with full menu for 16,50 euros at noon -june 2017-, and 28 euros at night (different menu, see picture). Dessert a bit too sweet for my taste, but the rest of the lunch was perfect : entree melon's soup with badiane and mint, main course breasted duck with honey and beetroot juice. And original decorationUne excellente découverte à Périgueux. Moi qui suis d'habitude très difficile dans le choix d'un restaurant, je ne cache pas mon plaisir et le partage. Une carte originale, avec menu complet à16,50 euros à midi -juin 2017- et 28 euros le soir (carte différente, voir photo). Dessert un peu trop sucré à mon goût, mais le reste du déjeuner était parfait : entrée soupe de melon badiane et menthe, puis magret de canard roti au miel et jus de betterave. Et déco originale."

"Une superbe découverte sur Périgueux ! Même si l'endroit ne paye pas de mine (devanture pas franchement sexy en face de la halle omnisports), il s'agit du meilleur couscous de Périgueux et alentours! Notre choix s'est porté sur un couscous royal. Assiettes copieuses et savoureuses, viandes de qualité et légumes parfaitement cuits. Mention particulière à là tajine aux pruneaux qui ravira vos papilles avec ses saveurs d'amandes et de fleur d'oranger ! Bref si vous chercher un endroit pour manger un bon couscous ou une bonne tajine foncez-y vous ne serez pas déçus!"

"I have to say that this pub never failed me. It is well located in the city and has an atmosphere of a sports bar a little, but if you go up the stairs there is plenty of space to sit, but if you are at the... Visiting Friday or weekend, I recommend a reservation as it can easily be filled. You have some basic burgers that are already amazing enough, but if you feel a bit of gourmand, you can either change or add some ingredients. You have some other things on menu, like fish"
