"I hadn't been around this area in a bit. But I'm very familiar with it having gone to school at Queens College. I was taken in by how NY Presbyterian has expanded from where it originally started. They have spread through main st and seem to have bought up houses and turned them into medical offices. Same thing has happened in Astoria I think, where Kaufman studios has expanded and bought real estate for their shoots or to house actors. I can only imagine how much the rent will be going up as a result. How can any of us compete with a hospital or movie studio? But as the hospital expands it means more jobs, as evidenced by the number of people I saw in scrubs or in nurses outfits, before 7am. This will in turn give rise to more businesses like this one, a small breakfast place. The bagels seemed freshly made. There are two tables for two, so it isnt a sit in place per se. My sausage and egg took a min but that reassured me that it was being made fresh. My black coffee was exactly what I expected. So no complaints. For less than six bucks, it was a very reasonable breakfast that I couldnt even finish since the roll was so packed. There is always the question of consistency for me if I came here everyday, would the food always be of this quality? But based on this visit, if you're looking for a hot breakfast in the area, cant go wrong here."

I came here because I thought it was a bagel place but I didn’t actually see any bagels. Ordered a bacon egg and cheese on a roll and it was very good ??

I ordered a bagel with cream cheese, but unfortunately, the cream cheese was spoiled. I recommend being cautious when selecting items from this restaurant.

I walked in on a Friday morning and was greeted by an uninviting atmosphere. There were no bagels on display, and the fridge looked almost empty. I didn't feel comfortable eating here. View menu

When I entered, I found the atmosphere to be quite dim and uninviting. The refrigerated case only showcased large bowls of chicken salad and tuna, neither of which looked particularly appetizing. I’m at a loss as to why this establishment has received a four-star rating.

This restaurant is conveniently located near my high school, so there are always a lot of kids around during the mornings, afternoons, and on half days. I really enjoy coming here; the atmosphere is welcoming and pleasant. However, the seating is somewhat limited. The bagels are affordable and delicious, and they offer a variety of other food options as well. Overall, it’s a fantastic place to hang out.

This place has unfortunately disappointed me the last couple times I've been there. While the staff are very friendly, the service is ridiculously slow. Today I actually saw someone walk out and leave after waiting for more than ten minutes for her egg on a roll order. Luckily, today I only ordered a bagel with cream cheese and coffee so it only took five minutes for my order. And what's up with all of the high school kids loitering here? There are only about four tables and they hang out all morning during the rush without ordering. So annoying that none of the staff says anything. View menu

I ordered directly from Wendy Peng via Facebook Messenger and picked up by Ace Bagels Cafe. The facility is overlaid, tiny, but clean and the staff was friendly. The options on the menu were limited, but they all look so attractive and it took 2 days to decide what to order. We had their signature cake sandwiches with mochi, salted egg sauce and pork flakes for $20. The cake sandwiches were so delicious, especially for the salted egg sauce on the day we picked up. However, the taste was little off the second day. There are 6 pieces in one order so it is difficult to finish 2 of us within one day. Customers can also come to the owner via WeChat to order their pastries and desserts.

Food made reasonably quickly however I wouldn 't call this a really solid deli sandwich counter. I ordered hot pastrami on a roll, which is on their board. It didn 't occur to me that that was exactly what I was getting, no more, no less. A roll, hot pastrami contained therein, straight up. Didn 't offer me cheese, mayo, mustard, lettuce, tomato, onions, peppers all those sandwich things? Also ordered onion rings, they were okay you know, typical cheapo onion rings, nothing extraordinary. No sauce? Wasn 't offered mayo or tartar sauce or anything? Ketchup? Mustard? Anything? Who orders a sandwich that is a roll with hot pastrami and nothing else and onion rings, eaten dry? To me, a deli coun...
