"I recently visited AlMar restaurant for dinner, and it exceeded all myexpectations. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by the staffand immediately felt at home. The menu offered a delightful array of lunchand dinner options, making it difficult to choose just one dish. After muchdeliberation, I decided to try the risotto with asparagus and shrimp, and Iwas not disappointed. The best risotto was perfectly done , the shrimptasty. The dish was beautifully presented and tasted even better than itlooked. Additionally, the tiramisu was excellent rich, smooth, and theperfect complement to my meal. Drinks excellent a good selection of wines myfavorite Pinot Grigio and the Amaro Nardini.I can 't wait to go back and try more of their delicious offerings!"

Went last night for a late dinner with friends (two of which are very critical Italians). We absolutely loved it. I had the best mushroom pasta of my life it was the pappardelle dish. Impeccable! View menu

We love Almar. The food is consistently delicious, the pasta fresh and al dente, the staff friendly and attentive, and good vibe. Thanks to all the staff and owners for making this available to us!

My family recently relocated to the neighborhood and tried the meatballs, lasagna, and rabbit dishes at this restaurant. They were all absolutely delicious! We will definitely be coming back regularly from now on.

We had a small celebratory work dinner here. Staff was so hospitable, the atmosphere was festive and cozy, and the food was amazing. Dishes were served family-style and there was plenty of food for everyone. They did such a nice job “personalizing” our event and even had our logo printed on the menus, such a nice touch! Al Mar is equally suitable for a casual dinner or a special celebration. It got quite crowded for a weekday, and you can tell this charming place is a neighborhood staple. View menu

Great restaurant with an incredible atmosphere. The food was tasty and their specials were great! Our server, Chris, was on point and highly attentive to details. What appeared to be the owner/manager was friendly and a team player. I had the pleasure of dinning right after the Thanksgiving break, it was nice to see staff consistently greet and have small talk with what appeared to be repeat costumers. Also, It's a Wonderful Life was playing on the projector, peak holiday atmosphere. 10/10 experience and I will be dinning here again. Thank you staff Almar.

As I sit here writing this, I can't help but think about the amazing flavors that I experienced at this restaurant. The Mezzi Rigatoni Pasta was absolutely delicious and truly a culinary masterpiece. I also tried the Spaghetti, but I still preferred the Rigatoni. The Chicken with potatoes and green beans was cooked perfectly, with a crispy skin and juicy meat. The dessert was also amazing, especially the hazelnut gelato. The service was great and the ambiance was perfect for a cozy date or lowkey celebration. I highly recommend making a reservation, as the restaurant is small and there is limited waiting space. Overall, a fantastic dining experience!

"When we called to reserve a table, no one informed us that there was a dining time limit of 1.5 hours. My friend wanted to invite more people to join us for dinner, but I was unsure if everyone would agree to the minimum charge of $60, including taxes and tips. I confirmed a reservation for 7 people during my second call, but ultimately, only 6 of us showed up. The table we were given was quite small, making it uncomfortable for six people, especially with the mandatory minimum spending of $60, as well as a 20% tip. For just two people, the minimum tip is 18%. I was confused about the dining time limit—was it two hours or 1.5? The party area was limited to just the backyard for additional seating. I was with friends who didn’t know the group well, and we arrived early at 3 PM, but we couldn’t wait until 6:30 PM. That’s why we ended up sitting at a separate table for two. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn’t seem to care and couldn’t arrange for us to be seated closer together. We had no choice in the matter. To make matters worse, the female waiter had a poor attitude. It felt like we were dining in a sidewalk market. She questioned another girl who served me ponzu sauce, apparently because I looked impatient when I saw her face. Her attitude only worsened after that. It seems like they need to train their employees better, as they seem unaware of how to provide good service. As for the food, it was just okay, typical of basic Japanese cuisine. There were too many restrictions! Customers are forced to adhere to the restaurant’s rules and limitations. I cannot recommend this place unless someone is specifically looking for a fast-food experience. In short, I don’t think I’ll be returning next time."
