Amato's - Menu

It had been a few years, because I had moved out of the area. So when I had gone for a visit, Amato's was my first choice to go to for lunch! As always, it was superb! Fresh crisp veggies, delectable deli meats, and bread/rolls that just so complete the sandwich! Thanks again for a wonderful experience!

Wonderful experience. The girl that took my order on the other day was amazing and is an absolute treasure really the best one other young man was a tight second, but she really stood out. a few individuals especially type of beaten my experience with their negative attitude. Also seeing Vapes on the counters caused some concerns.

I ordered a ham Italian sandwich and a spaghetti dinner with meatballs, but I came home and realized there were no meatballs. When I called the Biddeford location, the manager basically mocked me. We have never had Amato?s pizza before so decided to take a leap and try it. That was the mistake. The first bite I could tell something was off. The taste was.. gross to say the least. And dough was soggy and flimsy. So I decided that I?ll just eat the toppings. Well, that?s when I discovered the raw dough. Thin layer of cooked dough on the bottom but then completely raw to where I could actually stretch it. Absolutely disgusting.

I picked up a large catering order for my workplace today, and everything was exceptional. They provided all the necessary serving utensils, plates, napkins, and cutlery. We had bowls filled with sausages, peppers, and onions, along with garlic bread and salad. Everything was fresh and perfectly prepared when we picked it up. Great job! I would highly recommend this caterer to anyone in the Biddeford area looking for catering options.

Our orders are frequently wrong, but occasionally they get it right. The food is usually fresh, so I have no complaints there. However, this is now the third consecutive time our order has been incorrect. It seems like it’s a consistent issue. For instance, the Italian sandwich was supposed to have just pickles and tomatoes marked, but it actually came loaded with toppings. Pizza is one of those foods where if I am totally starving, I will eat it whether it?s the best pizza on Earth or just frozen pizza from the grocery store. That being said, I was disappointed with Amato?s. Having an Italian name, I would have figured something out of East Boston. Instead it was like a cross between Pizza Hut, Domino?s, and Little Caesar's. A totally commercial taste. At the end of the day I?m just a peasant. I guess what I expect out of a pizza is just more of a mom and pop pizzeria like Santarpio?s.

The food was exquisite! Baked Ziti with meatballs, small meat stoppers, chicken finger bottoms, The staff had smiles on their faces a was very pleasant to speak. On member his name d,J he made sure that our order was completed in time. Maybe it took 10 minutes. He greeted us to say that you enjoy your day. The restaurant was nice and clean her is not eating. Covid friendly meaning they wear masks and gloves, so ask them kindly that we too. I will post pictures of food and mark the dishes.
