"This Chinese restaurant has been a favorite in town for over 40 years (20+ for me). Everything from the food to the service is exceptional. My go-to dish is the black pepper shrimp with crispy tofu, paired with brown rice and hot and sour soup. I frequently order catering from here and the office always loves the giant cabbage egg rolls. The restaurant also offers a great selection of wines. It's a popular spot in the galleria area, perfect for everyday dining or hosting large parties in their private room. I love seeing other regulars who have been coming here for years."

The restaurant offers high-quality northern Chinese cuisine and exceptional service. The selection and pricing of wines by the glass are also commendable.

"Food good. Location good. Service good. BUT, the hidden charges REALLY ruined an otherwise nice experience. Example: HH menu lists Martinis as a $3 upcharge to the $7 base charge. Fair enough. Bombay is a listed alcohol; requested. When the bill was returned I was charged for a Bombay Sapphire which is not on the HH list. Charge? $11 $3. I asked for Bombay, not Bombay Sapphire. Waiter: Oh, let me look into that. AND, by the way Blue Cheese olives? Extra $1. REALLY? I 've NEVER paid extra for BC olives ANYWHERE. AND the confusing menus that a dish as including an extra sauce, [and I don 't recall the exact language but it made it seem that an additional items could be selected as well. Oops, there goes an extra $10.95. AND, the waiter recommending a twice-baked potato. Bah, boom, another $5.95. [which in fairness is disclosed on the menu in a different location, but waiter made it sound as if it was a no-charge option on the surf and turf. AND the split plate charge which I don 't think was disclosed on the menu. Ding, ding, extra $3.00. Was this a waiter, who was overly up-selling or restaurant deception? Don 't know. As I said, the food WAS good. AND, the ambience [at least in the bar area, stay away of the hotel-ballroom-like main dining area was nice. Just beware the nickel and dime charges that the waiter won 't be disclosing to you."
