"We were once frequent patrons, but Anthony's restaurant has significantly declined in quality over the past year. Despite giving it one final chance, our experience on a Thursday night was disappointing. With only one other table in the dining room, we still received poor service. My salad was overly wet and our entrees were incorrect. It was a party of two, so it should not have been difficult for the kitchen to get the order right."

The pizza was amazing, but the service was awful. Despite being the only customers in the restaurant, we were left waiting for at least 10 minutes before a server finally approached us. And when they did, their first question was, "Has anyone taken your order?" Nope, they hadn't.

The pizza was delicious, but the service was awful. Despite only 4 other groups in the restaurant and 3-4 servers, we were left waiting for at least 15 minutes before anyone approached our table. When they finally did, their first question was "Has anyone taken your order?"No, they had not.

We used to be regular customers but Anthony's has really gone downhill in the past year or so. We thought we would give it one last try. We went in on a Thursday night and there was only one other party in the dining room and we still had terrible service. My salad was dripping in water and the entrees were completely wrong. There were only of us-how hard could it have been?

"We are BIG fans of Romaines .. the renovations are beautiful .. welcoming and very nice trendy .. waiting area is awesome!!!! Romaines is no longer a fine dining restaurant it is more of a bar and you should go there expecting a burger or lighter fare ..it's something the area might need but you should not be paying the price of the older Romaines and receiving a lesser menu We never minded spending a larger amount for dinner and a great bottle of wine when the food equaled what we paid .. but now I will still be a fan of Romaines but know that I should keep my food choices to the burger or fish tacos They changed the look and the menu but they forgot to change the name .. not Romaines anymore"

"Not my kind of place. The bar / tavern had screaming, loud customers on a day when there was no one around. Really a tasting menu, teen plate, teen servings, bad value for money. The waitress told me that the green peppers in my clam chowder were mild - they weren't and had to spit out with a burning mouth. Really embarrassing when I was treated. Instead, they gave me asparagus. Your only vegetable. They didn't notice that my water glass was empty and I had to request it. Backless benches to sit in the tavern / bar, but you can request an uncomfortable chair. Not a place where you, like me, eat a lot of healthy protein and vegetables. I don't like leaving a restaurant where I feel bloated with too much food, but I don't want to go hungry either. The coffee was good after the meal."

"I would give this business a lower score if able. This (new) owner has been nothing but disrespectful.Evertime I go to pick up an order is lost or not ready. I deliver for( Uber eats) Its not ready or lost. I tried confront the Owner on this issue and he SLAMMED the order window In my face. Also said then don't do business here.I have never been treated so poorly.This man is rude and disrespectfulI will never do business here or suggest this is placeto anyone else, There are way too many places with better food and hospitalityDON'T GIVE YOUR MONEY TO THIS RUDE DISRESPECTFUL MAN"

"We had a reservation, were seated immediately. We waited 10 minutes before I went to the Hostess and let her know no one had come by. They sent a waitress who was lovely, she was not told we were her table. We ordered pizza and a salad. The Ceaser salad was drenched in dressing. The Margherita pizza was terrible. The pizza had a thick outer crust that appeared to be cooked well but the remaining pizza slice was undercooked and so thin that you could not separate the slices. It just broke apart. The sauce was sugary sweet. We were so disappointed. Loved the idea of the brick oven as described on their site as The pizza is baked in a brick oven and the high temperature produces a thin crust that is the perfect combination of slightly chewy, crispy light, and airy. it was not cooked at all. Sad to say, will not go back"

"Nothing to say but all great! John and his family have been running their business for many years and I have been coming here for several. They will serve you up their menu anyway you like and even cook something you want that’s not on the menu. I came in a stranger and now I’m treated, along with many of their regulars, as family. It is one of my sanctuaries.
