"It was refreshing to find a veggie friendly place to eat in Miami Beach (even though it's a bit removed from all the action). But, for the price you pay for the food, I'd expect the place to be cleaner and have greater ambiance. By clean, I mean there was a huge spider web hanging from one of the beams to the ceiling. I'm sure the employees can't spot it because who'd want to look up at the fluorescent lights when cleaning. And, the bathroom could've used some TLC. Yes, the place is half a small market, but things can be done to make the eating experience more pleasant (or is the point to leave as quickly as possible for the beach? I'm not sure considering there were 5 other people eating there at the time). Again, fine food (the Acai smoothie and veegie burger were tasty), but I think next time I'm in South Beach, I'd rather pay as much for greater ambiance and a cleaner place to eat."

Small store with some herbs and healthy products. Great detox juices in the fridge!! I didn't try the meals but the menu looked yummy!

Sweet Caffe offers freshly baked cookies and muffins, along with delicious smoothies. It's no longer a market; it's the perfect place for takeout! View menu

They have some good vegan options. My dish was a bit too liquidy. I wouldnt go out of my way to eat here but if you’re in the area, it’s a solid vegan option.

The black tinker dish was quite good. However, the lentil soup seemed to have a gritty texture. The peanut butter cookie was just okay. Unfortunately, there were too many tempting non-vegan options, so I hope people will consider other places instead.

Apple a day has good food, but it is a little too pricey for the quality they offer. I loved how they carefully put together a juice fast for me, but it was very expensive, and about half of the juices were almost undrinkable. I loved the chocolate bunniecakes and some other vegan snacks they offered. View menu

So glad that my boyfriend and I decided to try Apple A Day while we were in South Beach. Both the smoothies and food came in big portions and tasted absolutely amazing! The service was very friendly and fast. We were extremely happy and would return. I would also like to add that considering how expensive South Beach is, I thought our bill was very reasonable.

I tried four dishes: the heifer milk latte, which was good; the blueberry muffin, which was really delicious; the breakfast burrito, which was a bit bland and reminiscent of something I made when I first transitioned to a vegan diet. However, I did appreciate the large fruit cups and the pineapple served on the side! The citrus juice was complex and quite tasty. Overall, I’d say this is a fantastic spot for a coffee and muffin. I’m also interested in trying other menu items like the Teriyaki bowl or vegan pancakes. In response to another review that described this place as “dirty," I would say it has a more casual vibe, so it’s not pristine everywhere. I might be more forgiving about this s...
