"Had made reservations for 9pm on NYE, waited about 30 minutes before seating was available, however it was not a huge issue as there was seating at the bar while we waited. The cocktails we ordered were delicious (highly recommend the house Old Fashioned and the Sazerac). Wait staff was kind and attentive, the menu options were pre-set for the holiday; a touch pricy for the portions, but considering it was NYE, it was well worth the splurge. Will certainly be back."

"We went here on our weekly date night and had a fantastic dinner and overall experience. The place is small but in a cute, intimate way. Lynn was our server and she was great. The food definitely exceeded our expectations and was the best dinner we have had in a long time. I had the bolognese and my boyfriend had the seafood pasta which was a special. The tiramisu we had for dessert was amazing. You definitely need to check out this Pittsburgh gem. We will be back for sure!"

"The food here is absolutely amazing and worth a visit if you can get a table . The place is small and in a neighborhood so getting a reservation is difficult , the other option is you go and wait and hope to get a table but I saw people waiting an hour to get a table and it was Thursday at night 9 pm , some left after an hour. The service was pleasant and fast . The place is also very noisy and little chaotic , has quite a buzz, if you are into a quite quaint place to enjoy Italian this is probably not your place. Like a said excellent food but could be so much more. Grilled octopus and the grilled calamari were excellent . The seafood pasta was excellent , very fresh and truly authentic Italian."

"Wow, this is my first time trying this restaurant, and I can already tell I'm going to become a regular! The Miso Soup is delicious—packed with flavor, a generous portion, and served hot. The Build Your Own Poke Bowl with one scoop is also a fantastic value for the price. I have no complaints whatsoever!"

"Nikki, the owner, was remarkable. Despite managing numerous events, she consistently took my calls, responded quickly to emails, and offered invaluable advice and suggestions. I genuinely felt that my daughter’s wedding was her top priority. Shauna, our Catering Coordinator, was also exceptional. She was thorough and always prompt with her responses. Together, they were incredibly easy to work with and assisted us in curating an amazing menu. The onsite event staff were professional and courteous, checking in with me multiple times throughout the evening to ensure everything was going smoothly and to see if I needed anything. With over 200 guests, the service was impressively quick. Now, let’s talk about the food—it was not only beautifully presented but absolutely delicious! For cocktail hour, we enjoyed grand table displays of Artisan Fruit Cheese and Farmer’s Market Crudite, along with Butler-passed hors d'oeuvres like Bacon Wrapped Shrimp and Crispy Mac Cheese Squares. For the salad, we had Sweet Pear Salad, and the main course featured Duet Plated Chicken Piccata and Glazed Beef Tenderloin Tips complemented by Grilled Summer Vegetables and Rosemary Roasted Baby Yukon Potatoes. Our vegetarian guests savored Stuffed Portobello Mushrooms. Everything tasted fantastic, and we received countless compliments from our guests. I wholeheartedly recommend Bistro To Go. My younger daughter is getting married next summer, and we were thrilled to discover that Bistro To Go is also one of the recommended caterers for her venue. A massive THANK YOU to Bistro To Go for making my daughter’s wedding an unforgettable event! EDIT July 2024: We just celebrated my younger daughter's wedding one year after my older daughter's wedding, and once again, Bistro To Go delivered an incredible experience! Nikki, Shauna, Laurie, and the entire team were phenomenal. The food was delicious, featuring the same wonderful grand displays for cocktail hour along with Summer Peach Salad for the salad course. Our main course included Duet Plated Lemon Parmesan Chicken Piccata and Beef Tenderloin paired with Fresh Broccolini and Whipped Cream Potatoes. Every dish was outstanding, and we received numerous compliments from our guests. The service remained top-notch as well! I highly recommend Bistro To Go for all your catering needs. A huge THANK YOU to Bistro To Go for making BOTH of my daughters' wedding receptions truly magical events. Bravo!!!"
