"My husband and I spent a week in Lake Havasu this May, and I wanted to share our dining experience. Overall, we had very good meals, with a few standout restaurants. It seemed that the closer we got to the London Bridge, the better the food became. On Wednesday night, we dined at Shugrues. The host was a cheerful man who guided us in right away. Although all the window tables were taken, we still enjoyed a great view of the old bridge through the floor-to-ceiling windows, watching the boats pass by. Our server was a lovely young lady who took her time with us. To our surprise, it turned out to be half-off wine night, and the wine list was impressive. Mike ordered crab cakes for us to share, and they were delicious—especially thanks to the sauce that accompanied the dish. For dinner, I chose the blackened salmon, while Mike opted for a peppered steak. The side salad was fairly standard, but the soup was quite tasty. Both main dishes were exceptional, with decent presentation and generous portions that delighted our taste buds. The salmon was perfectly cooked, and Mike’s steak practically melted in his mouth. For dessert, we decided to share a chocolate cake, which turned out to be massive. It was rich and creamy, and our server mentioned that they have a bakery right in the restaurant. If I had to suggest one improvement, it would be to have a dessert cart available for us to see before ordering. The cake was just on the edge of being too big, but honestly, if they offered them for sale to the public, we would have driven home with one. Overall, it was a truly delightful meal, and I would recommend Shugrues to anyone visiting the area."

"Service was good. We were wondering if there was a new cook because the pizza used to be amazing, and today it had very little sauce and wasn't as good as usual. Our friends ordered cod and one of her pieces wasn't cooked all the way. Her husband ordered fettuccine and his noodles weren't cooked completely. Our garlic knots were so oily that they dripped on our friends pants. We were really disappointed and based on today's experience we won't be back. Sorry. Up until today's visit this was our favorite pizza place."

"Peggy's was quite busy, and it took a little while to get our table, which is expected at great restaurants. There's a sign-in list at the front where you put down your name, and they call you when there’s a table available. I had some dietary restrictions, but Peggy was very attentive and made sure I could find something suitable to eat. We made a few adjustments to my order, but nothing major! She also seemed to have a great understanding of the menu and everything they offered. My husband enjoyed his meal, as did our companions. I could only smell my dish, but if it tastes as good as it smells, it must be fantastic!"

"What phenomenal employees! They truly deserve over 5 stars! Every staff member works hard to ensure excellent service. The gluten-free options are not only the best in town, but surpass any Italian restaurant I've been to. However, the noise level was quite bothersome and gave me a headache. They really need sound-absorbing panels on the walls or ceiling. I'm considering takeout next time since it was difficult to have a conversation with my date. Additionally, the water had an unpleasant aftertaste. I was disappointed that entrees didn't come with a salad, as that's typically standard; here, everything incurs an extra charge. The open ceiling looks great but contributes to the echoing noise. Also, the table next to us did not receive a salad, and one of their entrees was undercooked to the point that the customer couldn’t eat it."

"On a Sunday afternoon, the restaurant wasn't very busy, allowing us to be seated right away. I enjoyed a very good Juicy's Bloody Mary (check out the picture section for a look). The Monte Cristo sandwich was exceptionally delicious, accompanied by fries (I shared some pictures as well). To top it all off, I had an Island Rose cocktail, a tasty drink with a hint of fruit that feels like a Piña Colada on the rocks. Our server, Izzy, was fantastic—friendly and attentive throughout our meal. Overall, it was a great value for the money!"
