"I am COMPLETELY DISAPPOINTED AND DISGUSTED! I will never be doing any business at Asahi in Belle Chasse EVER AGAIN!!!?To start I ordered at 4:58 and the order was not ready until after 6:30 with being told there was only a 30 min wait!!I ordered online and gave a few substitutes and wrote them very CLEARLY to understand! And NEVER got a phone call to confirm!When i went to exchange my rolls for the right ones they said there was nothing they could do and said that i was wrong when it was clear as day written on the reciept and was obviously wrong in the box… they expected me to pay for new rolls because they would not make it how it was ordered!They refused to refund my money for the rolls or remake them the right way!I left with no food and my card charged $50!!!!"

It's ok, the sushi kind of falls a part and the eel always has bone in it. Service isn't the best. I've stood at the cash register where a server just ignored me, didn't say hi or to wait. A bartender finally helped me and she was friendly not the other one.

asahi is without doubt to eat one of my favorite places, the staff is very friendly and eating is always amazing especially for the price. idk, where they otherwise receive such quality service and eating for such a good price. my personal favorite is the fried cream cheese smoked salmon appetizer. make you like and order it
